I’ve been using this to secure bird netting on my yew trees, and overall it has worked very well. One of the biggest advantages is how nicely it blends in—it’s much less noticeable than thin ties, which is important when working around ornamental trees. The soft rubber material provides a very good grip without cutting into branches, making it ideal for wrapping and supporting the netting securely. It holds everything in place while still being gentle on the plant, which is a big plus for long-term use. My only real complaint is the spool. It’s not very well designed, and I ended up having to tie it up with another rope just to keep things manageable. That part could definitely be improved. As for durability, it seems promising so far, but I’ll need more time to see how it holds up with weather exposure. Overall, it’s a practical, effective solution for netting and plant support, and aside from the spool issue, I’m very satisfied with its performance.

I bought this rubber cord with wire inside because I could not find my favorite. It has a good use. The color is why I bought it, it blends in versus the loud Kelly green that so many companies produce. I prefer the support wires not be seen. So it works well for dark green leaf plants, and my standard rubber twine by Tipu that does not have wire is vegetable green. They are a fine set for both colors of plants.

I use two to three of these rolls per growing season. Nice, thick coated wire to stake and support plants and will not damage them with its soft coating. One roll would probably last a normal gardener a whole season or more. I garden way too much.

Love this product, but the wire falls off the roll too easily. It needs a better dispenser.

This is so much nicer to use than string or that green plastic tape. It blends in and is strong but easy to use. I wish i had known about this years ago.

This is basically a spool of twist tie material but with soft rubber coating and is so affordable that I wound up using for Christmas decorations as well.
