Batteries were a little difficult to put in as they kept popping out. Kind of annoying and a pain. Outside of that, everything worked well once you remove the electric components from the old key fob and placed them into the new one.

I bought this for my 2017 Mustang key fob that had cracked open. As far as I can tell, this shell is identical, besides missing the horse emblem on the back. Quality materials that seem exactly like OEM. Would recommend.

I bought 2 of these to replace both of my key FOV shells. The first one was easy to install the battery but the button was sticking. After taking it apart again i noticed I did not line it up properly. Works great. My second one was another story. The battery was tough to install because it kept ejecting. After a couple of tries I got it to go on. You will need to reuse the battery spacer or it will not work. Wish it did not have the chrome lines.

The overall fit and compatibility are almost indistinguishable from factory, but there are a couple minor things to be aware of. There are missing details like the foam protective piece that should go over the chip, and the missing part that sits between the batteries (including no peg to attach your original to.). See my pictures to compare vs factory. Otherwise, great replacement, fully functional, even included a key blank! I originally took away a star for the first two items but went back to five for this nice surprise. Pro Tip 1: I did not peel the circuit board from its original rubber housing, I just removed the whole orange rubber housing and moved it to the new key, discarding the clear replacement. This mitigated the chance of buttons potentially not working as well as mentioned in other reviews, as well as mitigated the chance of cracking my board. Pro tip 2: Plan to connect the batter compartment pieces by pressing carefully with the side holding batteries flush on counter. The battery area is a very tight fit so the batteries may keep popping out until you seal the parts together. It took me several tries to line it up right without them coming out. I’m happy with the end result and so much better than paying dealership rates. Final reassembled key looks exactly same as the original.

I went off the product description and forgot to check my own key fob to make sure it matched. See my photo, this fob DOES NOT WORK FOR 2015 MUSTANG!!!! It's completely missing the remote engine start button so it's worthless for me. I own a 2015 mustang. The product listing says this is for 2015 mustang. IT IS NOT. THAT'S A LIE. DO NOT BUY THIS FOR 2015 MUSTANGS.

Got to be the best priced perfect product on Amazon , they fit like a glove and work, the price is unbelievable for the product as you get two. Ford couldn’t do it for anywhere close , they came in a very short time and I changed the inners myself. Great product .
