We bought this because his quest was overheating as well as himself. It finally gave up the ghost, but that didn't deter us from this awesome comfy strap. We bought a new quest and replaced the headset with this one, so he had more power options. The fan blows down over your face, and you can adjust the speed to low or high, depending on the different settings. The removable battery pack is a great idea, so you can replace it with a fully charged battery pack or use the Quest's onboard power. We opted to buy another battery pack so we had one charged while using the other. The quality is top-notch, and so easy to adjust to make this fit comfortably on any size head. What my grandson noticed was that the flush knob at the back is not like on other head straps, as they stick out and make it uncomfortable if you lean against a chair, etc. This head strap, having it flush, makes for a more comfortable play. Plus, it is so much easier to adjust. Easy to set up and use, very comfortable at the side of the original, and the removable battery packs are an awesome idea.

This needs 6 stars. The difference in comfort is amazing. Easy to fit, easy to put on, easy to adjust. The adjustments allows different angles and distances from the face. You can have the main unit not touching your face at all and still have it aligned perfectly. Swapping between folk is much easier thanks to the wheel to tighten which can be done with a single hand. The fan is a nice addition. I though it was going to be a bit of a gimmick but with an F3 face mask it allows air to circulate and the cooling breeze is very welcome on long sessions. Having the fast swap battery is great and due to the magnets its easy to swap out without removing the headset. The battery says 10000mAh but I would not say that it lasts the same length of time as the standalone battery pack I've been using of the same size. It does balance the headset perfectly and easy to swap with another fully charged pack so still worth it.

Its expensive, so may put people off, however; the strap is excellent. Quality is great, the finish is akin to the Quest, it looks like it belongs with it. On your head - after manipulating is superb. Its so nice to have the weight distrubuted between the rear and top of your skull vs clamping it to the front. The fan is OK - I have a Kiwi face interface, which has vents top and bottom. The fan is able to push air through those which is great, however it isnt as effective as one might like. The battery weight is unnoticeable, I'd almost go as far to say it helps balance and percieved weight. I can't comment on the length it adds because I've been addicted to SkyrimVR and cabled myself. I really reccomend it, its the style of headstrap that should be shipped with VR headsets I feel. There is a cheaper option minus the battery which I'd say is better value for money, but to have the batt for future on device VR is a plus to me.

We have had our Quest 3 VR headset for some time and finally decided to try this head strap. Please see my photos Firstly, it is reasonably ok to fit, although you do need to use a little more force than I would like to push all the way the sides of the headset into the locating arms of the straps. Once into position, it is fine. We did charge fully the battery that it came with, good to see that they fitted this model with a 10,000mAh type, and then we tested it out. We are also using a BOBOVR face pad. Well, we were both impressed, my wife has a much smaller head than myself, mine being quite large. However, it is very simple to achieve a snug, but not overly tight fit. That applies for both of us. The headset simply no longer needs to be clamped excessively to be secure and remain in position when moving a lot during the more active games. The comfort is excellent, for both head sizes. The magnetically held battery retains well in place, never coming loose during play. The scroll wheel type control, can be multi pressed to enable the battery or not, and to enable the fan, and then increase or decrease its intensity. The fan actually makes a very real difference to my comfort levels, blowing directly down over the forehead and offering a cool air feature to reduce sweating. Yes, the fan can be heard, on its higher setting, but not too intrusively. On its lowest or mid range, it is barely audible. Having the extra battery really does extend the headsets use in a single session, for many more extra hours. However, this is why I am reducing the overall rating to four stars. I do have some concerns related to the headsets durability. Yes, it is reasonably light in use, to the point of it most certainly not feeling heavy at all on your head. But the plastic does seem somewhat flimsy, not overly, but thin and somewhat delicate. So, if you have younger people using the headset, they should be supervised anyway, but just be careful how it is both handled and stored, it does need to be treated with care. I very much do recommend this headset, although it is one of the most expensive. But, the cost of the headset you are connecting it to is not cheap either. However, care must be taken when using it due to my concerns on its overall durability and the seemingly thin materials it is made from. I hope this has been useful for you.

The headset is perfect for the quest 3, the extra time you get from the battery pack is great. The batteries are hot swappable with strong magnets holding them in place, and you can easily swap them out with the headset still on. The adjustments on the headset make this so versatile to wear and you don’t feel pressure on your face like you do with other headsets. I have tried various headsets and this one is the best out of them all, and paired with the new BOBO facial interface which allows airflow to reach your face is well worth the investment.

Ok, listen up. I know this model is double the price of the M3, but: It’s got better build quality. It’s got a fan to keep you cool and stop fogging. It’s got a higher capacity battery. The top head supports are adjustable. Feels very premium compared to M3. All in all I’m glad I paid the extra. My quest 3 is finally comfy and does not annoy me. Also, each adjustment has a strong click to it. This keeps the headset settings stable and no messing around getting your adjustments back to where you like. Save up and go for this pro model. I love it and have wasted so much time and money on other solutions. Enjoy.

This thing is fantastic! I spent an age trying to decide which strap online but I'm happy with my choice. Though my Quest 3 unit now looks like some beefed up piece of tech from a sci-fi film, it's so much more comfortable to use for long periods. I was having an issue with severe neck ache with the elite strap and it felt like it was pulling my head forwards but no such issue with this one. It is very heavy but it doesn't cause me any problems at all because the weight seems evenly distributed at front and back and the head feels more supported. Some people say the fan is a gimmick but it's worth it's weight in gold with energetic games like Beat Saber - if I have the fan on low throughout, I no longer get as sweaty and uncomfortable. The swappable batteries make it so much easier to play longer and really good for taking to a friend's house or a party where you need power for long periods without battery packs and wires dangling. I use the strap with an AMVR facial interface - as long as you get the right version with the narrower lip at the top, it works really well (the older AMVR interfaces have more of a lip and it doesn't clear the bottom of the fan unit). Only one tiny niggle for me is that I wish the stock forehead padding was more like a silk/cooling style of padding rather than leather as I find leather a bit more irritating but it's a tiny thing and probably more of a me problem!
