Device seemed nice. The screen was clear, the device solid and well made, and it looked really cool. I returned it because it did not meet my needs. I think the product information is extremely lacking and it is difficult to know what you are buying or how exactly this unit is to be used. I was looking for an open payment processing device but this is really more of an inventory machine with tap-to-pay, which requires a separate service. They have a service they suggest but I did not go through the application process as it lacked other features I Needed. As mentioned, the unit has tap-to-pay, but it has no way to swipe or dip (insert) a card, which are still very common use cases. So even though it would allow me to install my own software, the final product would not meet my needs. A great product it seemed, but I deducted a star for lack of useful information or solid use cases. I was tempted to deduct two stars (cause I think the supplied information is that bad). However, I think this unit would be a good device for some people with specific use cases around inventory and I don't want to scare anyone away. The lack of info makes me think that this device is not meant to be happened upon in Amazon but rather people are pointed to the device as part of an onboarding process and Amazon is simply a vehicle to help with fulfillment.

I returned this item because I couldn't get it to connect with any of my POS apps. I'm not sure if you're suppose to use a specific POS with this item, but the advertisement and instructions that came with the machine made it seem like the machine was compatible with any software. I'll just stick with Square unless I find something that has as many features for cheaper transaction fees.

I got this to use at my art/craft shows so that I can have a POS to help keep track of everything and provide receipts to customers. It seems to perform well, it is pretty simple to set up and use, the only issue I have is that I cannot get the scanner to work. I have tried different ways, install/uninstall, tried to find videos to see if I was missing something but unfortunately I cannot get it to scan. I don't know if I got a defective one or if I am still not doing something right. I am happy with the speed and the other functions.
