Artisan Tropic Your Tasty & Healthy Snack Strips, Plantain, 4.5 Ounce (Pack of 2)

This is the second time we've bought the two pack of these chips and they are a hit with the whole family. Even my picky 4 year old. Finally found a good chip replacement that is both paleo and tastes much like potato chips. Making homemade chips is so time consuming, I just don't like doing it often. The problem with our local stores isn't actually that we don't have a variety of different vegetable chips, but the oils they use are ones I don't want to eat. I found some sweet potato chips with coconut oil that are great by themselves, but just don't taste right when I want to use my homemade salsa. These are absolutely perfect. Luckily, we haven't ran into the problem of them being too salty with any of our 4 bags yet like other reviewers have said. What made me really want to review this was tonight when we made nachos for dinner. One layer of chips, one of beef, homemade salsa, and avocado on top. After all that their texture held up very well. I was concerned with them getting soggy, but they actually took longer to lose their crunchiness than the corn tortilla chips we used to buy. The only thing that would make them better is if we could buy them locally!

Artisan Tropic Cassava Chips are incredibly delicious! With the perfect amount of crunch and salt, the long strips are great for dipping or just eating alone. They're grain-free, flour-free and more nutritious than potato chips. Fresh, not greasy and a great healthy snack alternative! I've tried all the flavors and they are all really good but the Sea Salt is my fave.

I am so happy I was able to locate these most delicious chips on Amazon. I had gotten them a few times in a local store in Chandler, Arizona but it was hit or miss and then it was just miss. Couldn't get them for a long while and couldn't live without them so when in doubt check Amazon, and here they were! They were delivered as promised and to my surprise they were not broken into little bits. Little bits would have worked too but nice big chips work even better. They are far better tasting than potato chips with a much more crunchier crunch. I can't say enough about them. I'll be traveling to NY soon and had an order sent to my daughter's house so we can enjoy them together while I'm there.

This is a good substitute for chips. They were also tasty. I plan to purchase again. However, I think the price is a bit much but sometimes you pay for what you like and good for your health. Disclaimer: I purchased and gave an honest review.

These are just yummy. I had never had the pleasure of eating yuca until very recently. My son has many food allergies and I came across a paleo tortilla shell recipe that was very good. That started my amazon search for other yuca products. I'm not in love with the price of these, that's for sure. The way I see it, too many of the products that I buy for my family are over priced. These are especially delicate and that leaves many tiny pieces at the bottom of the bag. However, I don't see myself making yuca chips at home anytime soon. So these will have to be a once in a while treat.

These are truly really good! I’m a chip-aholic but I’m also health conscious so I’ve been searching for the healthiest chip option that doesn’t taste like cardboard. Found it! If you read the nutritional label of these compared to a Kettle chip (which are my favorite but can’t eat a bag of those every day if you wish to be in decent shape), these are by far better for you, a fraction of the sodium, fat, calories, etc. Gluten free and dairy free as well. Crispy and thin with great unique taste. I squeeze a little lime over them, try it. Extra vitamin C.

After opening the bag, I was pleasantly surprised at how yummy these chips are. So impressed that I went to all my family members, filling their hands up asking them to try out the chips. They were super impressed too. As someone who has eliminated nightshades, I do miss snacking on chips. These were awesome! I had to slap my hand, close the bag, and put it away to assure myself I wouldn’t eat the whole thing in one sitting. Will definitely reorder.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Product was shipped in a soft bag and they were crushed in transit. Very disappointed in the lack of care in sending package when product costs as much as it does.
