I don't know why my local supermarket has stopped stocking hard cod roe. I really like it, it's nutritious and it doesn't have too may calories so now I buy it online. I find it very delicious, it has a nice texture, I either add it to salads or I have it as a snack, making little canapés on Melba toast and topped with some capers, pickles or shredded veggies A whole tin is only 200 calories and very filling.

Superb caviar,pressed cod roe 55% absolutely delicious.great roe texture and lovely flavour. I can only compare to princes pressed roe .John West soft roe was disgusting,I could not eat it. This Amanda roe is similar to princes,I found princes a bit firmer,it has 65% roe but is more salty than I would like. So I recommend this Amanda roe.yum.

Excellent product, tastes great !

Opened a tin with anticipation of roe from way back. It is a bit softer than it used to be and broke up before cooking and there was a lot of shrinkage. But still enjoyed the taste and texture.
