We love this kit! It’s been great for homeschooling! The kids have had so much fun. Easy to follow. My 10 year old can work through the experiments on his own. Great value. Better than getting a subscription.

Ok, not great. My son did a few of the tricks but didn’t spend a ton of time on it - which is what we want kids to do - stay busy with toys. Grade C

The instructions overall have done alright explaining how to do these experiments. You will need a few things from home: permanent marker, dry erase marker, dishwashing liquid, clear glass, scissors, water, milk, laundry detergent, spoon, strip of newspaper, stove and small pot to heat sodium acetate, pin, tape, aluminum foil, and a placemat. We have had fun doing the experiments and many of them do not take too long and are simple. Overall a fun set with lots of science experiments. I like that there in an explanation of what is happening with your experiment. Some things are still confusing to understand but kids will enjoy doing it. These experiments probably will want to be done with an adult to help.

Great science lab kit for any kid interested in science and/or activities. Older elementary student was able to complete independently and kept their interest for awhile. Great gift idea. Good quality, would recommend.

This science kit comes with almost all you need to get start experimenting with materials and creating crystals. The kit is intended for ages 13 and above where some experiments may require supervision.The instructions provided with the kit do a good job at ramping up the difficulty of the experiments and explaining what is going on. You will need to provide your own salt and sugar (common household items) as well as a cup and access to water (some boiling may be required). Some experiments require you to place it in the refrigerator or leave it out for a few days before observing. So do note that time is a component in most of these experiments.Overall these little science experiments are both fun and educational. This makes the perfect gift for a young individual who is interested in science and maybe even more specifically someone interested in geology.
