Got it because baby likes to pull our drain stopper which is a metal while he takes a bath in our bath tub. So we needed it something won’t draw his attention and can stop the water. Didn’t expect it works well 😂 but it does work. I got a white one, so far baby only pulled it, not sure how he spotted it and still was able to pull it a bit and let water out😂. But I like it it works well! Especially the bottom of our bathtub is not real smooth.

A great invention, Six stars for this drain plug. Easy to apply, perfect size, covers any size drain with ease, very sturdy, the suction cup holds it in place to keep the water from draining. I’ve seen really mixed reviews about this product, with some saying it just floats away, or doesn’t suction unless you do XYZ, and others saying it works amazing for them. I scanned through the reviews to find why it worked for some and not for others and I think it didn’t work for some because no one’s mentioned that the white insert on the inside of the product needs to be removed first! I had the issue of just taking it out of the package and slapping it on my drain - it floated away. It wouldn’t stay suctioned and once I realized to take the white hard plastic out of it, it worked perfectly! I hope others see this review and change their minds about it not working. I’m only doing 4 stars because the little extra flap to suction down for extra reinforcement didn’t work for me! But that could also be because I have a textured bathtub where it rests. Other than that, just as advertised!

My regular drain was compromised from using too much Epsom salts and I wasn't able to change it out for new parts. I hadn't used this tub for several years. I ran across this item on Amazon and it is amazing. Very thick and sturdy. Keeps water in. Has a good tight fit and has plenty of space to cover my existing tub equipment. This item should work on any tub to hold your water in. Great buy great product.

Waste of money. Unfortunately, I bought two of these. I opened one and put on my shower floor. With a good conscience I wasn’t about to send it back. So I’m stuck with one and I’m returning the second one. It has one little tiny suction cup on the side and so I thought how on earth is going to work? Well, it doesn’t! And so I did some reading on the other reviews of the people that gave us five stars, wondering how on earth that could be possible. Well, someone said you take the hard white plastic center out of it and then it works great. I did that and it doesn’t work with that out either. I think the only way this thing is gonna work is if you put it on a smooth surface. I have a tile floor and it does not stick! Absolutely waste on tike.

This stopped our leaky bath tub completely. It's important to wait until the water is about six inches deep before putting it down, though. I don't know what difference it makes, but it matters. If you put it over the drain when the water is very shallow, it will just slide up and off. Once the water is deep enough, put it over the drain stopper (with no air under the dome) and hold it down for a second or two, then let go. It stays in place and no water leaks through.

This product is great to use if your sink or bathtub does not have a stopper or the stopper is broken (as in my case). It makes it so that I can hand wash items in my sink now. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I think it is a little expensive for what it is, and I have not tested its durability so I cannot comment on how long it will last. It is pretty large, so it should fit any size drain, and is pretty easy to use (you just put it over your drain and turn on the water and eventually the “cover” suctions and prevents any water from entering). It is not as flexible/flimsy as other products, as this one has a rigid plastic inside that keeps the overall shape a dome, unlike others which are just rubber and may collapse down flat once under water. This plastic inside of the rubberized outside probably lends itself to making the product more durable and able to keep its shape over time, however I have not used it enough to be able to report back on this. I just tried this on my bathroom sink, which has a relatively small drain compared to the size of this “Stop Shroom” and though it works initially to block the drain and keep water in the sink, because it does not actually suction around the drain, the water slowly drains underneath the product, and I came back about 30 minutes later to an empty sink. This product would probably work better to cover a larger drain or one that has their other product to catch hair installed, as the product has a raised inside dome. I’m disappointed that it does not work for longer than about 5-10 minutes in my sink, as this product was pretty expensive for what it is. Overall, the product is nice and it is large enough that it could fit any drain that I would want to use it on, and the construction with the plastic and rubber is probably more durable than others. I still feel that the price was a little high for what it is, but I could not find a similar product at a lower price in stock at the time, so I bought this one. The color is also nice (I bought the teal) which is a bonus.

I lost my first one...so I had to buy a second one. The only thing is you need to make sure you pop out the inner hard shell....because it does hold water and it will mold. But other than that it is a great plug for weird shaped drains.
