Trellis Bone China 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4, White Lightweight Porcelain with Textured Design, Chip-Resistant and Dishwasher Safe

I’ve loved Mikasa for years and I own several Mikasa pieces, so adding the Trellis bone china set felt like a safe choice. It’s become one of my “fancier” looking dinnerware sets that we still use day to day. I rotate it with another well-known bone china brand and this pattern still stands out. The design is simple and feels polished and a little luxurious without being too delicate to actually live with. What I like most is the durability. I’ve had this set for years and it doesn’t break easily with regular use and normal handling. The only time we’ve lost a piece or two has been when my small kids or my elderly parents handled them with less caution, which honestly is pretty normal in a busy household. They’ve also held up well to regular use, they’re microwave safe and dishwasher safe. The color is beautiful, and they don’t scratch, chip, or show wear as quickly as you might expect from something that looks this elegant. The size is just right, they feel good in your hands. Average price for a decent and reliable set, a pretty upgrade for everyday meals.

I have had many dish sets over the years but this set tops them all. The design makes them perfect for any occasion. They haven't chipped or broken and look as new as the day I got them. Mikasa makes it easy to add matching pieces. I will never need another set of dishes.!

Bought a few pieces of this set at a discount store to hold us over after I donated our full dish set prior to moving. We like them so much I ordered this set for our new home. They are very nice quality bone China, light weight, very pretty design that looks nice on our table. We really like the larger cup size for coffee, tea and hot chocolate. They come clean in the dishwasher and when hand washing. We are very pleased with this set.

Beautiful design. Stacks well. Thin in a good way--nice quality bone china. However, it's not so thin that you're afraid you'll break it, and I'm not the most gentle with dishes! Update: A year later still no chips! However, the dishes do stain easily, especially the mugs. Now using different mugs do to this. Stains come out easily enough with denture cleaner, but it's kind of a pain. I love the durability and modern design that references antique dishes and goes with everything. Just wish these dishes stained less frequently.

I ordered two sets of these about 2 years apart. They’ve lasted a long time and don’t seem to show wear. Very sturdy and seem to be well priced for the quality. And the color and style can match just about any setting or occasion.

The subtle design is pretty and seems to be durable so far. The large cups are the best !

Very nice dinnerware, and these pieces look elegant on the table. I purchased a service for 6 set three years ago from Costco, but wished I had purchased 2 sets. I was unable to find another set for under $450.00, so when these came up on Amazon for this price, I wasted no time. This is a service for 4, and Costco is offering these again now in a service for 8 at $10.00 less than this (so twice the dishes for less). Anyhow, this dinnerware is well worth the price and I just love the quality and the pattern.
