First impression - very nice
I’m not a smart watch aficionado but my Fitbit Versa 3 died last week. My needs are fairly simple and a replacement Versa 3 or 4 would have done the job for me. I took the opportunity to look at a few reviews and this OnePlus Watch 2 looked the biz for the money. Ordered and arrived as promised. I’m still in the setting up phase so a bit early for a full review. The build quality and size seem spot on for me. Setting up OHealth and pairing was so easy. The watch and my phone spoke to each other straightaway. I’ll update as I learn more. In the meantime I’m very impressed. Update. It’s been in use a few months now and I’m very, very happy. The battery life is everything claimed. It does give different outcomes for step tracking and sleep monitoring compared to my Fitbit, however, it’s consistent so you have to reset your expectations. It tracks my exercise easily. I weight train, cycle and indoor cycle, no problem. I’ve got my debit and credit cards on it plus loyalty cards, gym membership etc. I’m sure I’m not using anything like it’s full capacity but I’m liking it a lot. It looks good too, with many watch faces to play with. I’m not a techy person but I’ve found it easy to use and enjoy.

Best Wear watch
I gave up on Google Wear watches a few years ago because of the constant charging (at least once a day) and bought a couple of Amazfit watches during the last 5 years. It was a relief to have a watch that you could enjoy without constant battery anxiety. But I missed the smart features of a proper smartwatch (the Amazfit watches were really fitness watches -- with a little added functionality). The long life of the OnePlus watch tempted me back to Google Wear. The watch is beautiful. I've pretty thin wrists (for a man) but the watch looks fine. In fact, I think it looks great. It's very obviously a high quality product, right down to the comfortable strap. The display is superb. Crystal clear and bright. There are loads of nice watch faces. The battery is as good as claimed. I'm getting 3-4 days out of a single charge, which include sleep tracking and exercise. The supplied charge is worth a mention. 15 minutes on the charger gives you around 40% charge; 30 minutes will give you a couple of days use. That's how I plan to keep the watch charged (rather than 100% charges every 4 days -- more regular, small charges are better for the battery). If you're really in a hurry, 10 minutes on charge will give you a days use. Because it's a Wear watch, there are loads of apps for it so it will do pretty much whatever you want it to do -- at speed. This thing is fast and smooth in use. Downsides? None for my use-case. But it's apparently missing a couple of sensors. I've found the accuracy to be very good for sleep and running. I think the USP for this watch is that it can be a classy wrist watch or an flashy sports watch, depending on what you want. It definitely would not look out of place under a shirt and tie. And the battery cures Wear's weakness. I highly recommend it. You can match your Apple Ultra friends in terms of functionality and battery life without selling a kidney and looking like you've stuck a smartphone on your wrist.

Excellent smartwatch
I don't have any complaints about this at all - rare for a smartwatch. The battery still lasts for around 4 days before needing to be charged and this is without the battery saver option turned on. I've had compliments about how good it looks, it's comfortable to wear, functions well and is very responsive. For a watch at this price it's basically impossible not to recommend.

Premium watch
Can't complain one of the better W/OS watches to date very premium and excellent build quality nice balanced weight screen is fantastic and bright very smooth operations lots of health features in the app seems reasonably accurate as well , seems quite a good variation of watch faces in the app although due to it haveing a separate custom chip for running background processes some 3rd party watch faces have a wobble with AOD , and my only con and it seems very odd you can't change the notification tone at all only default one and it's pretty naff and quiet makes no sense you can change ringtone but not the notification tone why that's not an option is beyond me hopefully in future update this is addressed as it's annoying and should be a standard option never had a watch you can't change notification tone even if only a few different ones would be nice , battery is pretty solid for W/OS anyway definitely better than Samsung and pixel watches anyway charger puck is pretty cool and supports supper VoC charging pretty much full charge in less than 1hr overall for less than most W/OS it's a great watch

The best yet.
I've had this watch for a few days now and I have to say I'm impressed. I've owned many smart watches including Samsung and Apple and this is one of the best for my needs. It's super comfortable on the wrist, is beautifully made and has proper 4 day battery life. The speaker volume is good and the haptic feedback is more than sufficient to grab your attention. GPS tracking seems on point when I'm out walking and overall the watch gives a really great user experience. This isn't a full gym style work-out watch but combines a good range of useful features for everyday use with stunning good looks. Really pleased with my purchase and can recommend the One Plus watch 2.

80 hours and still running happily.
I dont let my gadgets run flat, (unless by accident), so all I can say is that this watch seems to use just under 1% per hour of light use. It charges in an hour easily, too. I've bought it to replace a Samsung Galaxy 5 watch, and TBH, I think its far better. It's easier to read, navigate and make use of than the Samsung..... I've had it 10 days at the time of writing and can't really see why I used Samsung before!

Very good, handsome smartwatch
Good looking watch, bit heavier than other smartwatches, strap is very comfortable. Many free watch faces to choose from and several options that coordinate with the color of the band. The Ohealth so can be a bit tricky but it's good overall. There's good fitness tracking though not as detailed as Garmin (but more than adequate for even athletes). The sleep tracking is very good and automatically picks up make naps (the watch also automatically goes into DND mode when you sleep meaning those naps are not disturbed!). It's less expensive than Apple or Garmin so really good value.
