What I love: the look of the bulbs is modern and unique, perfect brightness, they truly are shatter-proof and if there is any doubt, they come with a lifetime guarantee.I love these lights. I wanted a nice set to go around my patio ceiling and I started off buying the most basic set with incandescents since it was cheapest. Very quickly I discovered it was a huge mistake. The set came with 36 bulbs, and only 24 sockets which should have been a clue there. But as I was setting up one of the bulbs literally BURST, scattering itty bitty glass shards all over the deck. It took me hours and my vacuum to clean, and I'm still finding them. Then I started to imagine, what if the lights were up and that happened? It would be raining glass on top of us, in our eyes, etc. That was when I decided to switch to LEDs forever.When I ordered these, I didn't realize how great they were until they arrived. I tried it imagine an acrylic light bulb that couldn't be replaced, but that was difficult. I was pleasantly surprised to find the "bulb" in the picture isn't exactly a light bulb. It's a large thick chunk of acrylic that is shaped like a light bulb with cute little bubble designs inside, on top of a tiny bulb (like a Christmas light). The thick acrylic seems impossible to crack or break, much less shatter and the overall look is great. Additionally, since the actual light bulb is so small, these have a nice gentle brightness, unlike some negative reviews I've read on other LED sets where people have to buy dimmers because they are too bright.I am more than satisfied with this set and highly recommend it!

I have owned 8 strands of these for 5 years and only have one bulb that does not work. They are very good quality, just the right amount of light and the perfect ambiance. The weather has never been an issue. They are on a smart timer to come one at sunset and go off at sunrise so it adds a nice glow to the pool area at night.

I don't give 5-star reviews casually. A product really has to not just check off all the right boxes, but do it BETTER than others. And the Enbrighten products really do that! I truly think they played a well-supporting role in selling our previous home : )My wife will tell you that I'm a little obsessive about light quality. The right color temperature, the right diffusion or beam angle, the right build quality... But lighting can truly define a space. It's the cream cheese icing on a humdrum carrot cake.As far as this product goes, it's definitely on the "warmer" side. I've not put them on a meter, but definitely on the 2200-2500k side. Which is EXACTLY what you want for a nighttime gathering space.Many similar, competing LED "cafe" products you'll find are those god-awful "edison" or "filament" lights. Those look great in stores, but when you get them home, you find out they only disperse light laterally. They produce nearly no light DOWNWARD (where you really want it with suspended lights). The Enbrighten lights project practically 360º, with as much down as lateral.Reliability is also a consideration. We have some Enbrighten products that have been in place for 10+ years.We're still in the process of finishing our new deck space. So apologies for the ladders and other distractions in the pics. But I really wanted to post some real-world images of these particular lights in use.I think we're nearing a dozen Enbrighten products at current and past properties. If you're wanting to define an outdoor / "cafe" space, you really can't go wrong with THIS Enbrighten product. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

I have three strings of them so so nice very durable love the look and light I have them on a Wi-Fi plug the come on and go off auto love these !!! Highly recommend this product.

My first impression upon picking up the box was how much weight they had to them. 3 ¾ pounds to be exact. Up to this point my only reference to café lighting was a set I had seen that was very lite weight; like a string of Christmas lights with a very thin plastic globe. I didn’t get the same sense of quality as I immediately did with GE’s LED version, (although, the others may have been intended for indoor use and thus, would naturally be lighter weight).While at my workbench, I removed the twist ties and began unrolling the cord. The end light flopped down pretty hard on the garage floor. It took a pretty bad hit and I wondered if the globe was cracked or if the bulb was damaged. I inspected for damage and saw nothing, plugged them into a power strip and they all worked just fine. As thick as the globes are, nothing short of major trauma is going to break these, which is good because in the process of installing them, they took quite a beating being dragged across the deck and all.At 24 feet, the string of 12 lights perfectly navigated our upstairs balcony above the patio deck. Distancing between bulbs was two feet and each bulb is easily hung by a small nail, or, the lights can be hung from a cable which can be strung through the mounting holes.As rock hard as the bulbs are I wondered if the illumination would be restricted by the thickness of the plastic. It wasn’t. The bulbs have great clarity but aren’t so bright that they kill the mood of an outdoor gathering.I especially like that the open end of the light cord can be sealed with an attached snap-cap. Don’t know how tight it is in a hard rain but it will work to keep water out.Pros: Construction, illumination, simple installationCons: Not a bad thing but the Cord is commercial grade and somewhat rigid. Will install best on a warm day.It would be good if these were offered with green and / or brown cords.Conclusion: I’m very impressed by the high quality and the overall illumination the lights provide. I’m assuming the longevity and energy savings of LED bulbs will offer high performance for a long long time.Full disclosure: I received a set of these complimentary in exchange for an impartial review.
