Stainless steel design, with small holes, which work well with loose tea leaves, infuses well, even with multiple tea bags. Very durable and easy to clean. Can be secured to handle of mug with chain and hook for easy retrieval of infuser. Very pleased with this purchase.

Very nice. Not cheap. The top screws on and off very easily. They are bigger than I thought, so you need a larger cup or mug, as I suppose these are for a tea pot, but I use a large cup so they are just fine for me.

I use this for peppermint tea. The holes in the strainer are small enough that NO leaves end up in the tea. The height of the strainer is perfect for tall cups. Mine holds 3 cups and the small tea balls don't hold enough leaves to make a strong tea. This one does. I fill the strainer half full (2 heaping teaspoons). Perhaps the best feature of this strainer is that the cover screws on and off very easily and doesn't come off in the cup. It is much better quality in that respect than the round tea balls that are so hard to assemble and take apart. I removed the chain and just leave the strainer in the cup to make the strongest peppermint tea possible. Very happy with this purchase after years of struggling with tea balls!

These things do the trick a bit quicker than the older design. They have a slight bit smaller perforations on the screens but they're also perforated on the top & bottom like the sides

These are wonderful little things they're about 3/4 of the size of a D cell battery I have a long chain which is longer than my cup so there's extra very simple easy mechanics on and off it's a light screw and it doesn't screw you I use a lot of leaf tea in it so far very easy to clean up have a nose to need stains the little silver tray thing that comes with it you do have to clean up after like 5 or 16 if you're using the same stuff cuz it will pull the bottom other than that it works really well and nothing's discolored nothing's changed had it for about a month been dunking in it in various teas hot and cold and haven't had a problem yet

These are a good, well made product. If you want tea balls, you won’t be disappointed. However, I give it less than 5 stars because there is an option that I like better that is so luxurious that I will never use these again. I bought a beautiful stainless 17 oz coffee press on Amazon that is so much better than tea balls for loose tea. Less mess, less difficult to clean and keeps two generous cups warm. When you put these balls in a cup, they displace a lot of water leaving you with a smaller amount of tea. That was an annoyance. You need to buy bigger tea mugs. But this product is of good quality even if a little messy and difficult to clean. It’s one of the better products in this category and nicely made and finished.
