I recently bought these picture cards for my son, and they've been a game-changer! They're perfect for targeting a wide range of learning goals, from narratives to sequencing, inferencing, and even articulation issues. What's really cool is that these cards serve a dual purpose! Besides helping with speech goals, they assist my son, who struggles with following daily routines, such as getting up in the morning and doing homework. This is a wonderful product that's so well made in a multitude of ways. The photos are really colorful, vibrant, and have so many little details big and small that you can really expand upon. It's like breaking down a cartoon in each card. I've been working with a couple of non-native english speaking children and this product has really added to our toolkit. Exposing them to language building effectively, tapping into their creativity by probing into the nooks and crannies and their interpretation of all that's illustrated, predicting what will likely come next, and why they think so. They are curious, and thoughtful and I could see that they feel themselves learning and building their comfort level and confidence. I highly recommend this for learn and play. They capture all this sensory, visual data and make intricate connections, which leads them to offer expansive narratives through these cards. My children were very receptive to this educational game.
