Super Sache! Meine Corsair K100 war störend laut. Hab die Ringe in Dick und Weich bestellt. Klar, lautlos ist die Tastatur trotzdem nicht. Aber auf jeden Fall leiser. Einzig störend ist, dass drei Ringe zu wenig in der Packung waren. Die K100 würde 123 O-Ringe benötigen. (Leertaste und noch ein paar andere Tasten brauchen drei O-Ringe, statt einem)

The product includes 120 O-rings. However, if you have a gaming keyboard with any extra keys, there aren't enough O-Rings. Larger keys like [Space], [Shift], [Enter] take 3 O-rings each. So, 120 O-rings is barely enough for a 101-key keyboard. The O-rings appear to be of good quality. I got the 40A Thick Soft to dampen and quiet key presses on a Corsair K85 keyboard. The O-rings are working well and make the keyboard feel nicer. I would buy again, but wish there were about 5-10 more O-rings in the package.

These are made with very good quality construction. They are just o-rings though so be realistic in your expectations depending on what you're using them for. I use them on my mechanical keyboard at work to bring the sound level down. It doesn't make the keyboard magically silent, it simply eliminates the higher frequency clicky clacky sounds so you don't annoy your office mates. They are mostly clear so they don't interfere with backlit keycaps as much as solid color o-rings. You can still see a faint line in your backlit legends from the o-ring but it is much better than solid. They also soften the key presses a bit but minimally. Good product all around for this specific use case.

This review will be focusing on the impact that these O rings have on the alienware keyboard pro wireless. I love the keyboard pro but it has some issues. With an all aluminum construction it's very easy for it to create a reverb when you stick any switch that's not linear on it. I use a set of cherry MX blues and it's safe to say that I strike the backplate pretty hard when I type. I'm heavy handed and with me using clicky switches it's safe to say that I make some noise and echo ensues. So how do these rubber rings work? You simply take the key off, apply the ring to it's stem, then you remount it and slowly push it down all the way. The ring softens the blow to the plate, reducing noise that can translate to echo. So how did it do? It did well I think given what it is. There is a reduction in the echo but it's important to realize that it will never completely go away because of the construction of the board. The entire top is aluminum and given that it's not constructed with proper foam like other boards, the echo is something that you will need to deal with when using clicky switches. They do a good job of reducing the noise but it will never completely go away. I would say these rings when you buy a set of thick 40s will reduce the echo about 70 percent. It will be enough to be less obnoxious and you won't notice it much from lap or desk level. The echo that will be there still will be from the actuation from the switch itself. Not the insane reverb from hitting the plate. Regardless, aside from that there's not much to say. They are rubber rings. Everyone makes them. They do as much as they can given my model and that's what counts.

I have a mechanical keyboard that take a lot of pressure to press down on, which is great because they feel very springy and satisfying while typing but bottoming them out ended up giving my fingers cramps after prolonged use. I got the thick o-rings to shorten the travel and soften the impact while pressing keys. The first time I applied them not all my keys weren't responding but after applying and reapplying them I would eventually find that all of them work and now feel much more comfortable to press. I recommend it if you have the patience and if you won't miss "clacking" keys.
