So far so good great sound works well like the cassette in the side has all the bells and whistles

I actually love it. My vinyl sounds great! The only annoyance is that 'auto stop' cuts the ending of 7 inch vinyls...I could switch it off but that will create more wear on the needle. Great for the money, but only 4 stars because of the auto stop annoyance

On arrival, CD player doesn’t read CDs , tried several with no luck . So tried the tape so far and the sound quality is awful and this is the model with the external speakers included. Constant humming noise from the unit transformer when plugged in and not turned on smacks of a low quality component. Not worth the money, just terrible rubbish, don’t buy.

Sound quality of my cds and 60's records was amazing. Speaker leads could have been longer. Very pleased with it. Have yet to try the mp3 conversion - but hopeful of a good result. Radio reception not good but wasn't with my old stereo unit - suspect more to do with area rather than unit.

The speakers lack bass. Pop and rock lose their punch, though classical sounds better.I thought the lever mechanism for the deck would slowly and gently lower the arm automatically - it doesn’t. Gauging the edge of the first track is tricky.The motor engaged for the cassette player is surprisingly loud and can be heard over the music if played at a low volume.I guess it’s what you’d expect at the price. But better than nothing if, like me, you’re on a very tight budget.This review is perhaps overly critical. Doubtless I’ll get used to it

Great wee stereo good sound system,only downfall is plugs through the lid section,which is a concern to try get lid off to pull plug to back
