I bought the XL version. It came in a small box...I was surprised how much was in this tiny box... well done... "Assembly": it is hard to call it "Assembly" ... because it was so much simpler than "Assembly"... you simply slipped small poles into a sleeve... I like that kind of simplicity.... Well done I am 6ft, 230 lbs, and I can easily get in up to my neck above my shoulders comfortably.... dunking my head is difficult... I would like to have had it three inches taller. The bottom is slightly padded which is actually fairly important for getting in and also for sitting. It holds A Lot of water... so you need to have access to lots of ice (depending upon your climate ... i have it outside on a porch in a Gulf of Mexico climate). I used 8 one gallon ice blocks from my freezer to start (water out of tap was 82 degrees). I used some six quart storage containers from walmart to make the ice and probably put about 4 quarts of water in each container and then put that in freezer overnight... The lone problem so far: The rim is supposed to be air filled... but it does not hold the air for more than a few minutes.... so I blow the rim up each time before using it (at 20 to 25 seconds). That is why I give a 4/5 instead of 5/5. If I remember, I will write another review after a few weeks or months.

So this has been a truly amazing adventure. I bought my 1st one in March of 2024 and used every single day till yesterday, 2/11/26; I dropped my resting blood pressure to 115/68 and in total lost over 46 lbs. I truly look forward to using the pod daily. Bought a Nuvio Pro Chiller over the summer of 2024 and I use it all the time in the warmer months in the N'East USA. Even though the recent cold snap caused the pod to freeze too quickly even with the thermal wrap and it developed a hole, the pod has been an amazing solution. I personally average about 10 minutes daily I highly recommend this to those seeking to do the following, through consistent daily use of 6+ minutes: ~Weight loss ~Improved blood pressure ~Improved smooth muscles ~Reduces stress ~Increased focus ~Increased stamina ~Reduced aging ~Healthier skin ~Improved digestion ~reduced fatty liver (it cured my NAFLD) Please do ensure to increase water intake north of 80 fl oz daily, and using a K1000 supplement and/or Redmond Real Salt; electrolytes are expended faster via CWI.

I was excited to use this cold pod regularly, planning to sanitize the water with chlorine and get multiple uses. But after just 6 uses, it started leaking from the bottom. Now I have to drain it immediately after every use to avoid a mess on the floor. This completely defeats the purpose of having a cold pod. I haven’t misused it at all, and for the price, I expected better quality. The return window is closed and can't get rid of t.

I bought this for our 18 year olds birthday he has been really getting into cold plunging. I had looked in to a bunch of the more expensive tubs but figured we would try this to get more bang for our buck. I just wasn't sure I wanted to commit to paying a fortune if he wasn't sure he was going to use it all the time. It works great and doesn't take up a ton of room which is great if we need to move it. We currently have it in our garage and it is perfect he uses it all the time and it works great! The only thing we noticed is if you don't wipe it down every few days it kinda gets a bit of a film. I will probably end up buying the attachment where we don't always have it outside. But 10/10 would recommend if you are not wanting to go bankrupt buying a cold plunge tub.

The "soft sides" kinda collapse easily, even when filled with water. I've been in actual inflatable pods (not just the top ring) that give a sturdier feel to them. The inflatable top ring is NOT formed correctly to be on this unit. When you inflate it, there are odd "kinks" on the top ring that come when you force an inflatable object that is formed to be straight to sit on something that is curved. If I had to guess, I got a unit that was rushed to production to either keep up with demand, or to relieve back-orders, because it doesn't setup as nice as the picture shows, with a nice, curved profile for the top ring. A gripe; You have no choice but to run the supply tubes for the chiller over the top, which means that if you're using a chiller, the top won't sit/seal well. Many other units offer supply/return spigots built into the side to allow a more streamlined unit. Just a gripe, the picture didn't show that it had them when I bought, but for the money, I don't see why a few dollars in PVC fittings couldn't have been included. While this may be an entry-to-mid level unit, for what it is (A medium sized piece of vinyl shaped to hold water), I still don't think there's anything remotely approaching $197 in material, workmanship or design here. This may be a "pop-up" manufacturer, looking to cash in on the craze, and fold-up shop once the $$ is made, but only time will tell. The unit holds water, and the chiller (purchased separately) keeps the temperature, so I have no choice but to say "It works...". The rest here forces me to say, "...but."
