Good, many adjustments! Rechargable batteries do not work in these?
So far don't have a complaint, needs batteries not supplied, if you don't like using batteries do to not being green then use rechargeable, although nothing lasts for ever, food for thought, what will happen to EV batteries when they have tobe replaced? How green is that? Also what about road tax in the price of gasoline, eventually EV cars will have to pay road tax someday! Anyhow this light cost wise is ok and does more than some higher priced lights, easy to use and thoughtfully designed!-----UPDATE: rechargable batteries do not work with these lights(GO FIGURE?). i STILL like them the sensor works better than some higher priced stick lights! UPDATE: Still working well, buying another set, broke battery door on one, can not use rechargeable batteries, voltage not high enough to turn on, the sensors are sensitive enough, stay on 20 seconds.

Very low quality
The batteries are loose and the light won’t stay on and I have a hard time turning it on. I’ve changed battery brands but it didn’t help. It’s very low quality. It’s kind of a letdown because otherwise they’re really nice lights and fit what I needed exactly. It’s a little bit surprising because in the past Amazon basics things usually work.

Bright light where I need it.
I loved these lights so much, I bought another pair. I have other types of closet lights that are motion detect on/off lights. They are ok, but the batteries tend to die quickly because the motion sensors are always powered. These Amazon lights are touch button, so they are much kinder to the batteries. One thing of note: The on/off buttons are not temperature sensitive - it requires a tiny bit of pressure to trigger the button. I've found there are three spots along the light panel where the light switches click on/off very easily. It takes very little pressure to trigger the buttons and its not annoying in any way to me. They are very bright with 11 LEDs. The mounting panel is a good addition, and makes replacing the batteries much easier. It can be screwed in using supplied hardware, or stuck on the wall. The battery panel lid is a little tricky, so be gentle with it. One minor gripe that is not a dealbreaker to me: One of the mounting brackets seems to not hold the light tightly enough, so that when either of the two buttons at each end are pressed, the whole light moves in the bracket. I remedied the problem by taping two little rubber spacers/feet on each end against the back of the light which presses against the wall. Now it doesnt move when pressed. Yay. Amazon should consider redesigning the plastic back of the light accordingly... or at least provide two little stick-on rubber spacers in the hardware pack, IMO. Minor gripe aside, I love these little lights, and highly recommend.

Don't all work
Ordered 2 sets, only 3 actually work. Already had 3 mounted so I couldn't send them back. They are bright but not a white light , more yellow. Not sure I would order again

Half of what I ordered doesn’t work
I bought four the first two are absolutely perfect, super bright and just perfect for my kitchen and stay on until I turn them off but the other two turn off after 1 second. Can’t get them to stay on, it’s super annoying so now I am going to have to go return them and literally just hope that I don’t have to return another pair. SO close to being perfect.

Easy to install
These lights are super easy to install and are not too bright but not too dim. Good product for the price. My only complaint so far is the only stay on about 60 seconds from the first motion detected. That may be adjustable and something I need to investigate. Something to consider also is that these lights burn through batteries QUICKLY!

Defective..pain
These did not work and on the way back right now. I did get a replacement which works fine, but I have had the worst time trying to get the defective back to you.My printer doesn't work and had to get my grandson to print the label at work the Friday after Valentine's Day, he lives about 20 miles from me and I don't drive and my 88 yr old husband doesn't much. So my grandson was just able to get the label to me Saturday and I had my 87 yr old Mom take me to my doctor appt today and FINALLY got those darn lights sent off. Why y'all didn't just say throw them away like Walmart does, I don't know, because I can assure you, you can't use them. I may STOP using Amazon because of this and the defective Kardia I have. Waste of money. Anyway, the replacement lights work right now. If they stop, instead of trying to mail back, I'll just take my loses and throw them away. I'm almost 70 and that's too much trouble. 😩

Easy and Simple Solution for Under-the-Cabinet Lighting
I love these small motion-detection lights that are not seen under the cabinets. They are working great, and I love that I don’t have to be very close to make the sufficient lighting come on. The magnetic strip, that goes wherever you place it, makes it easy to take them down to replace the batteries as needed. I believe they are worth the cost.

I bought these for my front door because I can never get the key in the lock in the dark. These are motion sensing so as soon as I approach the lock with my key, it all lights up. Since they're battery operated I was concerned about having to replace the batteries often but as it turns out they have a light sensor too - the light won't come on during the day. The only minor flaw is that the writing on the lights is such that if you hold a light upright the batteries go in on top. But riddle me this - since the lights get mounted into position with double sided tape, how would you get the batteries out from on top? If you didn't stop to think about it and mounted the lights right side up, when the time came to replace the batteries you'd have to tear the sticky tape off and turn the light upside down to 'pour out' the batteries for replacement. If you think ahead, you'll ignore the writing and mount the light upside down... that's what I did. So when the batteries are dead, you open the battery cover (which is at the bottom) and allow the batteries to fall out. Easy peasy lemon squeezie :-) Besides that tiny quirk, these are awesome lights - bright, motion sensing and light sensing for longevity. When I need more I'll be buying again.

They are great when they are working. However each light uses 4 AAA batteries which only last 4 to 7 days. I will not purchase these again.

They'll work about a month and then every time you turn them on, they last less and less time until it's 7 seconds of light. Bought 2 packs and they're all the same! Pretty disappointed.

Amazon Basics hit a home run on these gizmos. I'm using them to light the interior of a cabinet with my lp record collection. They're the right size, right light level, right power source, and installing them couldn't be easier. At about 5" x 1.5", they'll fit just about anywhere, including my record cabinet. The motion sensor switches on the light when I open the door and it goes out after I close it up. Mounting it was a snap. They have a built in magnet so they can be slapped on a fridge or other metal surface, and they come with a simple self-adhesive magnetic strip that stuck to my cabinet perfectly. If you don't get the position perfectly on the first try, you can just pull off the mounting strip and re-attach it. It doesn't lose it's stickiness. It took me about a minute to decide the best location and mount them both. Couldn't be any easier. The light output is ample for me to read the dividers and the spines of the record sleeves, even at a low power setting. Each light uses 4 AAA batteries which cost a bit, but the light output is easily turned down (and back up) and the motion sensor ensures they will only be on when I'm actually getting or returning a record, so I'm sure they'll last years. Similar products are rechargeable from a USB charging source, but I don't have a way to get a USB cable to my cabinet and I'm not going to buy a charge stick for this one use. So good old batteries are perfect. 5 stars!
