Cat Harness and Leash Set - Escape Proof Adjustable Cat Harness, Comfortable Soft Lightweight, Use Safe & Easy, Walking Travel Kitten Harness for Small Medium Large Cats (Hawaii Green)

After trying out the "new version" of this harness set up from PetThem, I've come to the conclusion that newer isn't always better! I have had issue with the newer harness as my buddy was able to easily slip out of it making it useless to use outside. So I went on the search for another harness and found this one by the same company. I am pleased with the quality this company has with its products so I wasn't scratching them off yet. This harness the quality was also high and actually is better too. Thanks to it have actual real adjustments that can me made, I was able to it escape proof. The design is just better and I was pleased to see the clips were not the break away kind. Break away clips are nice to have with collars for obvious reasons but with a harness to make sure your buddy is with in your close supervision, they definitely don't need break away. I tested it after clasping them together and pulling hard to see if they would break away and they didn't, perfect! So I simply sized the neck collar portion of the harness like his regular collar making sure a finger can easily slip between him and the material once clasped. Then I adjusted the back strap to be sure it was tight enough that he would be able to wiggle his arms back through. So now it is secure but also not uncomfortably tight on him either. The eyelet is in the middle of the two straps which is great because it allows the leash to be out of his way but also if I have to pull him back, I doesn't force the front of the collar to go against his head. This is a design flaw with others I've had close to this one. They would have the leash connect on the front collar part which can make it easier to slip over your buddy's head. The material has a nice pattern with a matching leash which is exceptionally longer than I had expected it to be. You can easily use any other leash with this harness if you wish but the matching one is perfect as is. It does not stretch though mind you so if they decide to start running away, they will get stopped abruptly. Though with position of the eyelet to connect the harness as mentioned earlier, they shouldn't be harmed. Over all this is finally the harness I've been looked by for to replace his older one that he grew out of. And there is so much adjustment that can be made still as he continues to grow over the years. So my advice to PetThem is to keep this design in the forefront or keep in mind the points that make it so great when looking into moving on to a different design. Overall for the safety of your furry friends who wish to enjoy the outdoors, this harness is highly recommended by me and Midnight even gives it two paws!

This harness is excellent. It’s not restrictive and does not restrict full range of motion but at the same time it’s not one that will easily slip off. We’ve been working to train our cat to walk on a harness since she was four months old, but most of the harnesses were too large as she was very small. Now that she’s a year old, this harness fit perfectly. This is a great choice for an older kitten six months and older. Our cat is a year old. She seems to be OK with the comfort of the harness as it is not rigid. The value for the money is perfect as I purchased more expensive padded harnesses that did not work well at all. I love that the leash is detachable and that the harness is lightweight enough to leave on her so that she gets used to wearing it in conjunction with her collar.

I am satisfied with the quality of this harness plus the design is pretty. It fits my kitten well and adjusts easily and securely as she grows. She is comfortable and agile to wear it after a brief period of time to get used to the harness. I like that it isn't a bunch of material. I know my cat is safe and secure which is the most important factors.

Great product with a wide range of adjustable measurements open neck and trunk. So, I don't have to keep buying different harness as the kitten grows. The colors are quite bright and cheerful especially on a grey blue fur. I somehow liked the idea of large breathable fabric patch option. My 6 months kitten just got out of that harness. It's a good thing I tried to walk her inside the house first! When I got this product, I left it for my kitten to check it out and get used to it. I started with the smallest measurements and I was able to secure it quite easily. My kitten moved about and chased interactive toys around - so quite comfortable. So, l put the leash on and walked her around. The item is quite compact and well made and my kitten hasn't escaped the harness yet. After a couple of days, I'll take her out in the yard and start to get her walking. She is otherwise an indoor Russian Blue cat which apparently tends to have weight problems if eating and exercising are not maintained.

My Kiki is ancient. I didn't think he'd want anything to do with it. I put it on, loosened it a bit and an hour later he was just fine with it.. I need to get a longer leash but otherwise he's okay. It's well made and really easy to put on him. I'd definitely recommend this harness. Well done!

Fits my petite female cat approx 7lb just fine and also fits my approx 11lb female cat (although it has to let out almost all the way for the 11lb). Does not adjust big enough to even come close to fitting my 22lb male cat (which isn’t unexpected, I got it for my smaller cats but just wanted to include that info). I think the connecting piece with the hook ring between the neck and abdomen is a tad too short. Overall it works well enough for both of my female cats.

This harness and leash are really great quality. I've tried it on my XL 14 lb cat and my small 6 lb 7-month old kitten. It adjusts to for both well. The buckles are very sturdy, the hardness and these material are very thick and durable nylon webbing, and the spring clasp that attaches the lease to the harness also seems sturdy. I really like this kind of harness because the cat doesn't have to step into it, you just wrap each section around the cat and clip the buckle. If you tighten the harness efficiently, your cat will not be able to slip out of it. Overall, this was a great value for the price and it looks great.
