Thicker than I expected. Almost like play doh. It worked really well on some fireplace repair work. Filling cracks and helping hold a new piece in place.

This is a really good product in my opinion. I used the mortar I bought when I bought my fire bricks and it was rubbish. The cement really does dry rock hard and the bricks stick like there is no tomorrow.
