Perfect dock for me
I’ve been in the market for a good dock for a while and I’m really really pleased with my purchase, it perfectly covers my requirements. It works flawlessly with both my dell laptop and my m1 macbook pro, delivering enough charge for either device as they display on my 2 external monitors with no issue at all. It has the exact number of ports that I need, leaving me with one spare Thunderbolt and one spare USB A which is ideal. It’s completely silent, and discreet enough that I’ve stowed it down the back of my desk out of sight. I picked it up for around £200 on a prime day offer which I think is a sensible price, dunno if i’d have pulled the trigger on the full RRP. That said support for Thunderbolt 4 means that all being well I shouldn’t need to replace it for a very long time indeed. If your needs match mine then look no further.

Does what it says
I've been searching for a stand for my 2023 iPad Pro which incorporates thunderbolt connections but there is nothing on the market. So I made my own using this device and the Lamicall tablet stand. This way I have the perfect combo. I can keep the iPad fast charging from the hub and have thunderbolt 4 connections from the hub to a 4K screen and a thunderbolt connection to an external hard drive. I've attached the base of the stand to the top of the dock with some velcro tape. Bingo!

Only slightly compatible with M3 Pro Macbook Air
On an M3 Pro machine you get a single 4K60 display, a 1080p display and no ethernet. Not nearly worth the price difference over cheaper models. [Update] To confirm another review, only one of the six USB-A ports on this device are actually powered. Making it largely useless for devices such as webcams or stream decks.

Makes a difference
This is a premium 5-in-1 hub. I got this to charge and power multiple devices, as I have several cheaper hubs that I'll have plugged in all day and they just barely charge anything. This might have the higher price-tag compared to others but this is the only one I've found to actually work effectively with my laptop. I can charge my powerpack, headphones and other devices at work and they actually charge quickly, compared to barely charging all day with the cheaper ones, so for that reason purely, it's ideal for me. It has the ideal number of ports for me and is slim and compact for travel. Excellent product, recommended.

High-end hub for fast Thunderbolt 4 connections.
This very fast Thunderbolt 4 hub won a CES Innovation Award in 2023. It's easy to see why. In a very thin box measuring just 12mm high x 125mm wide x 74mm deep it provides extraordinary levels of data speeds as well as simultaneous high power charging of up to 60W for a host computer such as a Mac or PC. The hub has six ports. On one side are the DC power input (taking power from a dedicated mains power supply included in the box) and three downstream USB-C ports of Thunderbolt 4 standard. On the opposite side are one USB-C Thunderbolt 4 Host port (capable of 60W pass-through charging and 40Gbps transfer rates) and one USB-A port (of USB 3.2 Generation 2 standard with 10Gbps speed). This specification allows me to connect one computer, a Windows workstation in my case, to a variety of peripherals, storage devices, UHD or 8K screens using just one thin cable between PC and hub which provides both power and data using Thunderbolt 4 technology. (the 60W USB-C to USB-C, 80cm cable comes included with the hub). My testing of this device used my PC, a Windows laptop, iPad Air (5th gen) and a Pixel 6 Android phone. I found that any of these could be attached to the Host port and could then access and read the contents of storage devices such as SD cards, USB sticks, M2 enclosures. Connecting to my 4K TV screen was no problem at Ultra HD. A full wired network connection to each was possible with a USB-RJ45 adaptor. The brief manual states that six levels of daisy chaining is possible downstream of the hub but I don't have the hubs to try this out, but it sounds very useful for creatives wanting access multiple storage drives near their desks. The design is very minimalist, apart from the 21V power brick (which comes with a long enough pair of cables to hide under a desk out of sight). I would have preferred a more descriptive User Guide and feel this has been skimped a bit (I found a bit more detail on Satechi's website). At £200 the cost is high. But the powerful technology combined with such convenient miniaturisation makes this a very user-friendly device. I cannot criticise the quality of build, design or presentation and feel that you get value for your money if this meets your requirements.

Didn’t for work for my dual monitor MacBook Air m2 set up
I’m sure it’s a great product, however for me, it unfortunately didn’t work for the intended purpose even though the Q&A section said it would. I have the MacBook Air m2 - I wanted to be able to have a dual monitor set up with an portable monitor I have along with my Cinema Display, however it didn’t work and I learned that I needed a dock that supports display Link.
