FOXTROT2R Weapon Light, 700 Lumens, Black, SOF2R100

Fits well - I had to adjust the rail position to fit better but the instructions were clear and the adjustment easily done. Do be careful removing the circlip with the suppled tool. Little bugger went flying off and I spent 5 minutes with a magnet trying to find it in the carpet. Must happen to a lot of people - they supplied a spare in the little tool bag. Once properly installed, the light is secure. I put 250 rounds through at the range and the light was still secure. There are two rechargeable batteries supplied with USB-micro A ports. Charging cable is only 4” Long which is a pain. I can’t speak to the battery capacity but the 1.5 hours stated run time should be adequate for most self defense situations. Battery changeout is simple - remove front lens and drop in a new battery. No need to unmount the light. 700 lumens is plenty bright for indoors and very good for outdoors. I have this mounted on my pistol and it lights up things within 50 yards without a problem. No focus ring - just a good beam with good coverage. There are three latching modes. Default factory setup is temporary down and full up. I switched mine to full up or down. A great light at a good price.

I bought this for my Sig Sauer P365 Fuse, with a Romeo-x red dot sight. It works great, and is slightly brighter than other mounted lights. The only problem that I had was trying to find a holster that will accommodate it the way I have my pistol configured. Make sure your holster will accommodate this Foxtrot2R.

Installed nicely on my .40s&w. I was able to adjust it to just a hair past the inside of my trigger guard which is my preference. The light seems to be quality and I like the two batteries. Good luck finding a holster.

Love the Sig Foxtrot2R. Super bright, fit perfectly on my P365XMacro. Got a holster from AlienGear to fit the firearm and light combo. Definitely helpful it came with 2 1-2-3 batteries with a USB micro charging port in the battery itself. I have one on charge and one in the light, and can swap easily. The button programming is not difficult, and I am very pleased with the brightness and fit.

Quality product. Built really well. Easy to use, with straightforward ergonomics. Providing different switch sizes to allow for more customization is really thoughtful. But I do have a couple of small complaints: 1. I cannot understand, for the life of me, why the mounting mechanism is made out of aluminum. On a metal-framed gun, it is very likely to leave some marks on the gun’s finish - especially at the sharp edges of the rail. 2. The light bulb itself seems to be a halogen, which gets hot as hell. An LED would have been highly appropriate here. I’m wondering if there’s an LED replacement for it.
