I bought this as a set with the matching saucer as I wanted a nice, large cup for evening cocoa. I'm absolutely delighted - the set is pretty and practical and fits the bill entirely.

This mug is made from china and it holds about 450 mls of liquid so you get a decent drink of tea or coffee. The pattern is lovely and the shape is not round but oval,it is supposed to be like this I was told and it doesn't affect how you drink from it. I can recommend it highly.

È una tazza veramente molto bella, fine e d'effetto. La forma non è tonda, ma leggermente ovale.

Beautiful set. I was taken aback by the ovalness of the cup, looks like a round that got squashed. Had to go to reviews to see if this was right. It is! Have yet to try it, hope it isn't awkward to drink out of.
