Works perfectly
Arrived quickly and was a perfect replacement for an older transformer Novotronix Model No. 9801AR used for halogen pendant lights.

Perfect replacement
Needed this to fix an old transformer for under counter lighting. Worked great.

Works well with 30W halogen recessed lights.
LED bulb flickered when dimmed. Likely need special LED dimmer. Also, original big, heavy transformer had a black wire lead that I believe led to an overheat fuse in recessed light can. This did not have one. I used 30W vs 50W halogen bulb.

Fit the Kichler under counter light fixture
Dimensions on these transformers were small enough to fit inside the Kichler under counter light. Wish that it was suitable for use with LED bulbs. I believe you can get transformers that will allow conversion.

Used part that did not work
As soon as I open the box I could tell that the wires were twisted and that someone had already previously tried to install this item. I hope for the best and if it worked I would have been okay but the item did not work. Someone should try to check items if they are returned before they put them back in a box to give to someone else

Just what I needed
I had two pendant lights that stopped working. I discovered that the transformers were faulty. Fortunately, this replacement transformer was a perfect fit, and the lights are now back on.
