Smells like a bonfire, but not unpleasant. I love the scent. Very earthy and just takes me back to happy times. Does come out quick so he careful. Very potent. Worth a purchase.

It is what it is. Hate people giving personal subjective opinions on their like or dislike. It’s strong. Like one drop does my open plan house. Smells to me like log fires and winter towns at night. It’s brown in colour too so be wary if you’re predacious about your diffuser or intended use. Otherwise... Lovely. Strong and peaty sort of smell.

Love the smokey tarry smell, but its a very potent aroma and also drips very quickly so use with care. Will easily overpower other aromas if used in a mix.

The oil has a carateristic dark brown color and smells like a smoky woody thing with caramel notes - very strange but not disgusting at all. I am using it diluted in coconut oil for massage. I gave only four stars because the cap was a bit defective and I had to try different techniques to open it safely. The oil seems to be a good quality one.

WTF! This is the strongest scent in my collection 100% I cannot get over how strong it is! The smell is insane at first, but if you mix this to wear it dries down to a more earthy smell which is super nice and lasts for hours!

Hmm, having found I can now watch a wood fire on my tv, thanks to youtube, and dream that we have a real fire burning away in our (chimney-less) living room, I wondered if I could replicate the aroma of burning wood logs using this oil in a diffuser. Sadly this is NOT the way. I found this repulsive.

While the bottle in the add shows clear birch oil, thi is as it says birch TAR. The tarry elements smell strongly of smoke and ash and overwhelm the birch smell.

A very strong and unique scent. Not as enjoyable on its on but great mixed with others.
