I bought this after using one at my yearly asthma review. I find it incredibly helpful to ensure I am using correct inhaler technique, as this does seem to improve the effectiveness of my dry powder inhalers. I had previously being inhaling MUCH too hard, and a lot of the drug was hitting the back of my throat instead of going into my lungs

When my Doctor switched me onto a powdered turbuhaler a few years ago he got one of these in check dials out to show me the required strength of inhalation needed. It was quite a strong deep breath. He demonstrated and then I had a go. Without the in check dial demonstration my technique for the powder inhaler would not be as good. I decided to get this device now because it's been a while since I last used one at the GPs to check my technique was still good. Thanks to the pandemic my asthma review is not until next year. The 'gadget' itself is easy to use. Basically you twist the symbol that corrolates to your inhaler to match up with the arrow on the tube. Then you just practice your inhalation technique. A good resullt needs to be within the green bar, preferably on the higher end of the green bar but *not* into the red bar. It's as simple as that, but I recommend watching a demonstration video by the manufacturer on youtube.
