S4 series is game changer and this new model just makes it that much better!
Wow. I considered cancelling this order multiple times while I waiting in line for mine to ship. I'm glad I didn't. I had seen reviews for folks having issues with uneven bed plates that they could only fix by major sanding. I, luckily, didn't have this issue. In fact, when it arrived, instead of printing the little rook test print or calibration print, etc, I threw caution to the wind and printed a full plate. I did NOT do a manual level. This thing is supposed to do it automatically. I didn't even change the default resin setting in Chitubox. Came out perfect (used Sunlu ABS-like Water washable grey, which I love). Every print since then has been perfect as well. I've printed three full plates with small to medium size pieces and one full plate with a large multi-part item that was hollowed. I know that's not a lot of prints, but it certainly gives me a warm-fuzzy that I got one of the good ones. Now that I jinxed myself, let's see what my next print looks like! Now onto a more detailed review: Pros: - Tilt/release is a game changer and I'm pretty sure is the reason I've had 0 failed prints. - Love the flip cover. - I like knowing the vat heater is there if I need it. I'm in Texas, so won't need it as much as others. - Prints fast. - Camera, with light, is awesome. I had a little camera inside my Saturn 3 that worked pretty well, but focus length is optimized with the S4U16K built in one so not as fuzzy with items close to the camera. - Timelapse is cool. Customers love to see their prints "born"! - Can send prints through Wi-Fi, yea! No more USB stick issues to deal with. Cons: - Smaller X/Y/Z than my Saturn 3, but not by a whole lot, but smaller is not better! The same or bigger would have been nice on a new model. Seem to be going backwards here. - No handle on the flip cover. - Expensive. -16k, not much of a pro, coming from my 12k S3. Not sure I can tell the difference. - More of a pain to clean the build plate when changing colors since it's a double decker. - Wish they would have included (or made an optional) resin feeding system. - Network monitoring is nice, but wish it had an app and cloud support, like Bambu Labs, so could monitor over the internet. Can be done, but most people don't have the technical ability to make it happen (I do). I've heard rumors that they are working on it. Fingers crossed! - I haven't had any failed prints yet, so can't speak to the AI monitoring for failures, but reviews I've read say it isn't very good. Time will tell and it will likely improve with firmware updates. - I'm worried about resin getting into the machine if the PFA rips with the tilt mechanism. Hopefully they have shielded items inside as much as possible, to keep the loss to cleanup time instead of dollars for parts. - I've heard it is a major tear down to change the LCD. I bought the extended warranty, so hopefully that will be someone else's problem. What I'd like in the Saturn 5: - Resin feed system. - Back to the same build volume size as Saturn 3 or even a little bigger. - I've seen a new printer from a different company that has a build plate that makes releasing prints much easier. - Cover handle. - More modular build so parts can be replaced easier. - Multi-color (Just kidding, but maybe someday, sigh...)

Incredibly easy to make excellent prints.
Print quality is outstanding. From start to finish, the setup process took about 10 minutes. Another 5 to familiarize myself with the printer’s functions & perform manual leveling, and it was ready. Sliced a calibration print, added resin, and pressed print. 2 hours later, a set of the best minis I have ever printed were in-progress. Right out if the gate, it nailed all calibration tests. Prints fast and has been a joy to use so far. I didn’t think I would appreciate the internal camera; I was wrong. It’s amazing.

BUYER BEWARE
Been 2 weeks 3 different resins and not one successful print. Dialed in all the resin settings ect. Still to no avail! Oh and been down a couple of days waiting on customer support because of firmware. Powered the machine on and it's stuck on the loading screen, because of a firmware update (did I mention that I only had this printer 2 weeks smh) so while waiting on customer support I've decide to post my review. Customer service responded once and pretty much asked me to dismantle the printer to send a picture of the motherboard smh. Why am I dismantling and pulling motherboards on a printer I just got 2 weeks ago!!!. THIS IS MADNESS! Did I mention not 1 successful print no matter what resin and dialed in settings. Long and short I wouldn't recommend this printer I needed something larger but I'm going back to my reliable phrozen sonic mini 8k s. Elegoo saturn ultra 16k is so disappointing. *UPDATE* CUSTOMER SUPPORT CONTACTED ME BACK FEW DAYS LATER TO OFFER A COURTESY FULL REFUND. JUST TO TURN AROUND AND RESCIND THE OFFER SAYING THE OFFER WAS LIMITED (LOL WHAT A JOKE!) SO MY PRINTER STILL IS DOWN GOING ON 3 WEEKS, CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONDED WITH LIES AND TRICKS AND I'M STUCK WITH A 500$ PAPERWEIGHT. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STAY AWAY

Quality machine came with clear instructions, definitely an upgrade over the Saturn II as it has a textured build plate.
