The case is strong and protective, partially because the camera fits tightly. It holds my Lumix FZ1000, strap, and spare battery. Be careful that your camera fits in the interior dimensions given. I feel the camera is well protected when traveling or hiking. I like that I can use the camera strap over my shoulder to carry the camera in the case. I like the handle too. The belt loop option seems very sturdy, but I'm not sure how convenient it will be. The camera is accessible when riding on my hip in the case but the opening is not wide so I don't think it will be a quick draw scenario.

Almost perfect for my Nikon d3000, with a little alteration. The foam on the top and the bottom of the case made it a little hard to close, so I removed the top foam (easily) and it fits snug but not tight :)

I originally bought this for my Canon 50D for a trip to South America but it was way too small. Instead of sending this back I decided to keep it and use it for my Rebel XTi. Although the Canon Rebel XTi body is quite small, it is still an incredibly tight fit with this case. I ended up packing the Rebel body with the fixed 50mm lens and packing my other lenses separately. In the case itself you will be lucky to get a DSLR and one lens attached, but pretty much forget anything else. There is absolutely no room for anything, not even an extra memory card or two. All in all though I am happy with the purchase. I took my vacation to South America with this case going for a ride along in a carry-on, survived the trip there, and the trip back with no issues. I will be keeping this for day packing but unfortunately it limits me to my smaller camera and I still have to pack essential lenses separately. Pros: Well constructed and rugged If it fits, it is protected very well Padding seems decent enough for standard bumps while in transit It's a handsome little case for your camera Cons: No carrying strap built in Fitting even a small DSLR is tight to say the least The velcro security flap is a bit cumbersome to operate A DSLR and a standard Canon 28-135mm lens does not fit in this case, Nor does a Sigma 55-200, 75-300, etc etc

Wasn't sure about this for my brand new expensive camera. But when it came to packing my luggage. This fit the best and was sufficiently protective to make the trip work. Got a few good photos which made it worth it.

My camera came with a large bag that takes up quite a bit of space in luggage so I was looking for a smaller but still safe option for travel. The hard case is perfect! Compact, cute pattern, padded inside and my neck strap fits in there too!

This item was a bit small for my sony dslr camera

Fits my Nikon Z 7ii great! It is a *little* snug, but really that's what you want so it's secure. The hard shell seems to be good quality - I feel secure packing it in my suitcase when traveling.

Nice product. As compact ad it can buy fir a full-size camera. Feels sturdy and well constructed.
