Nice and simple, works well
I integrated this in to my home security system. It takes a standard 9v battery which makes it easier and cheaper to maintain in the long term. The fixing bracket works well and it has an extending aerial which I expect would boost the range if you needed it but its only 10m from my central unit so I didn't have any problems and use the antenna in its retracted state. Its perhaps not quite as beautiful as it might be without this antenna but overall I am very happy and it has been working reliably without any false positives so far.
