Safe Catch Wild Ahi Tuna 142 grams

I tried this canned tuna out of concern for mercury accumulation. Safe Catch literally checks the mercury level of every fish caught. Perfectly fine product. Clean and firm. Perhaps it's a bit dry and needs some salt. Both issues can be remedied easily. I prefer other brands, but I will be sticking with Safe Catch from now on.

I feel confident that Safe Catch tuna is healthy--with the mercury problem of fish these days, it's important for me to consider. It's also good to know that the tuna are sustainably caught. Canned only in tuna juice, I can immediately see the fresh color and smell the fresh fish when I open a can. And it tastes great. As a bonus, this tuna juice is the only tuna juice that my cat wants--and definitely he wants to lap it up (when I am willing to share). The company offers some great recipes also, and, after testing some of them, I recommend checking it out. I eat tuna about three times a week, so a low mercury content is important to me. Safe Catch gives it to me.
