bought for the grandpa!
we bought this for our little boy's grandpa for christmas as he's interested in the weather, and it's actually surprsingly good! Simple to use and a great start in the age old tradition of the english - talking about the weather!!

OK for kids to learn about the weather
OK for kids to learn about the weather. Bit cheap looking but what do you expect for the money. Good educational tot without the kids realising.

Really works!
Much loved primary science project which feeds into weather reports and weather maps to share with parents. Easy to set up and great for charting day after day…

Weather Station
A tad disappointed with quality of product but having said that it's been lots of fun for my Grandson to enjoy and learn the basics of weather science.

Great
My Grand-daughter loves this. It's only small and quite flimsy but a good toy to learn from about the weather. As a science starter, it does the job.

too small
Having saw how small the compass is, its really not worth my while building it up the children would need to use their magnifying glass to see anything, i clearly did not read the description very well as there is no bottle with it that's ok, but using a soda bottle would dwarf all the components.

Pretty good for the price
Bought this for my grandson's 8th birthday. After reading the reviews I wasn't expecting a lot, but as he's really into science I thought for the price it was worth buying for a stocking filler. He enjoyed putting it all together and I had to find him a bottle, some compost and seeds to take home with him make the garden bit. We decided that his mum would help him make a spreadsheet on his laptop to record his readings, so I think it will turn out to be a good buy!

Total rubbish
Cheap, lasted about two weeks before the plastic arms snapped, anemometer doesn't spin. Thermometer is cheap and not really reflective of the Temperature. Very poor its in the recycle bin.
