I used this WWZMDIB CH341A BIOS Programmer to recover and flash the BIOS on my ASRock BC-250, and it worked like a charm. Three days before Christmas I was building a PC for my nephew on a Z490 platform. I auto-updated the bios, and the PC never re-booted. The motherboard had bricked. It also turned out that there was no bios flashback on that MSI motherboard.This adapter arrived NEXT DAY. I was able to find a pinout to the bios chip, and re-flash the chip externally.It saved me about $300 and a day of driving around in the snow looking for a Z490 motherboard.

It's works as intended but upon me try to remove some solder from a few pads using solder wick it rubbed the slik layer right off exposing the traces and now the USB programmer is useless so I had to order another one 😞

4/5 based on price to quality comparison. Would have liked some type of instructions, or at least a link to a site with a diagram for different chips. I need 3.3 V to flash my bios chip, but wasn't able to find documentation on how to set it upp. Although I don't think that is specific to this brand. It seems to be difficult to find instructions on using these programmers in general. Especially for a 3.3 V chip without having to do DIY modifications. I would still recommend it if you know that it will work for what you're trying to do. Its worth the price and I will be keeping the one I have even though I couldn't use it this time. It's going in my computer tool bag.

This saved me almost $700 bringing several devices back from the dead. I use this to backup and reflash SPI flash BIOS chips on motherboards. Everything i needed was included EXCEPT the software and instructions. Had to google to find instructions and download links after looking for a model number on the USB programmer. Cant believe this was only $10!!!

This CH341A programmer arrived looking fine, but it was totally dead on arrival. Tried it on two separate PCs, multiple USB ports, correct drivers, and multiple flashing tools (AsProgrammer, CH341A Programmer v1.34) — nothing worked.The system wouldn’t detect it, and every flashing app returned a “Device Not Connected” or “CH347(-1)” error, which means the programmer itself isn’t initializing at all.I even tested it without the SOIC8 clip connected to rule out shorting issues — still nothing. LED lights up, but it doesn’t communicate at all.Based on how many forums mention this same problem, it looks like this seller has serious quality control issues.Don’t waste your time like I did. Look for a better-reviewed CH341A kit or spend a little more for one with proven reliability.
