HUGE upgrade over Corsair - Mac combo
I've been working from home for a little over a year now. I use a MacBook with a couple monitors. When I got the job, I knew I wanted a mechanical keyboard, so I bought a Corsair K60. It was loud but I enjoyed typing on it. A month or so ago, it began randomly adding duplicate keystrokes. It was so annoying. The couldn't update the driver. Their software wouldn't save preferences. It wasn't good. So with no solution, my search began. I looked at many options, but one of the main features I wanted was ease of integration with Apple. Keychron connected so easily. Instead of USB slot being taken by the Corsair, I now have this thing paired up through Bluetooth. All of the apple-specific buttons are here. The function keys all have the sound/display ease-of-access buttons. Integrating the Keychron makes me wonder why I ever tried with the Corsair. I chose the brown switch version initially because I thought I didn't want flashy red buttons. I'm ignorant of keyboard stuff. After some education, I understood (at least academically) the difference between red/brown/blue. I have no idea what the Corsair was, but oh my, I love this brown switch typing experience. The feedback isn't overwhelming, but I actually feel like I'm typing on something rather than the nothingness of my 2019 Macbook keyboard (notorious for it's poor reviews by a lot of people, I think). The corsair was so loud. My wife doesn't mock my loud typing now the way she did. I can hear the keystroke but it lacks the clack. It might be because it's heavy or I'm suffering from some sort of bias, but the keyboard feels solid while typing. The only downside I initially realized was the south facing lights. It's not as bright as the Corsair, however, that was never a utility function for me. If I was into that sort of thing, I would care more. That might be a deal breaker for folks, but not for me. I'm loving this keyboard. Wish I would have purchased a year ago.

perfect clackityclackclacks make for a quality typing experience
Edit: the battery life is absolute @$$ if you keep the backlighting on but ok otherwise! First mechanical keyboard experience. I am very satisfied! I consider this a high-quality keyboard. I went with the brown switch vs. the red as I heard it’s better for typing; I think that was a good choice, as I type all day, everyday for work and have had no issues so far. The keys feel smooth, my fingers don’t slip like they did with the Apple Magic Keyboard, the bluetooth connectivity is reliable, and the backlighting isn’t too intense. The keyboard is HEAVY (4.29lbs, specifically) and the weight definitely adds to the quality feel. It’s so durable that I feel like you could use it as a w**p*n if needed 😂 There isn’t an aluminum frame around it like other Keychron models — I read the aluminum frame makes the non-Pro versions feel more sturdy, but that doesn’t matter for this Pro model given the strength of the materials it does use. Highly recommend! Especially for the price.

Looks Great and Feels great
This is my first true gaming keyboard as well as my first time using a fully customizable rgb mechanical keyboard. This keyboard is awesome. I love it.

I absolutely love this keyboard!
Great keyboard. Great sound, Great feel, fully programable via software from Keychron. 100% recommend! One thing to note about using the software via Keychron, if you have the keyboard connected to a docking station, the software will not work. Keyboard needs to be connected via wired cord directly into computer in order to work.

Awesome keyboard. Heavy. Feels great. Sounds great.
Its an awesome keyboard. I'm not happy about the south board but it is what it is and thats mostly due to my expectations. I swapped out the stock browns for Gateron Pro 3.0 Browns and I'm happy I did. I'm someone who grew up on Chicony keyboards with Cherry switches and I love full size keyboards mostly because I am left handed and when I game, its easier for me to remap keys to the 10 key, arrow keys and home cluster so I can hit everything with one hand without moving it. But its heavy, it feels good and I'm used the layout to the point I can nearly blind type anyway once I'm sure of my starting point. However I am also 62 and near sighted and need something shinethrough to help me see the keys better. This is a conflict between south boards and a majority of the choices for shinethrough keycaps. Side lit is not very desireable for me, but its what I am being forced to use due to the south facing LEDs. It would be nice if there was a solution like this with a north board because not everyone is looking for the game aesthetic and just needs something sublte and functional. The shinethrough is much more pronoucned on camera than it is in real life, believe it or not. The single row legend caps are barely visible with the naked eye in a very dim room, but the camera picks it up just fine.

Definitely a step up in the custom keyboard game
I really enjoy this keyboard. I went from a Corsair mechanical keyboard that I had forever, then to a EVGA because of the use of macros.. which was a nightmare because it kept uninstalling itself over and over. This is fantastic. I own a Keychron Q5 as well and love it. I wanted one for my work setup and this is great. Pros: keycaps are top notch construction Typing feels nice on the MX Brown key switches Bluetooth works fine. I'm using USBC Via online software is good (not great) RGB is bright and very granular (can adjust it a ton) Cons: via software is a little buggy and not easy to use, but once you figure it out, it's fine USBC cable is short (like 2-3 feet) No volume knob.. but I guess you have to pay $100 more for that haha. Macros are slow and you can't edit them to be quicker (think key input combos)

Woah! The sound and feel of the keys! I've had so many mechanical keyboards before - mostly Ducky, Das Keyboard, but the feel and sound of the 'reds' on this... so delicate, quiet! Puts my Ducky to shame. Glad I upgraded to the Keytron.
