I bought for accurately scoring down the inner insulation of armoured cable to replace manually doing with knife. This is now a must have tool for me and can change out hook for bigger cables. 10/10 use daily.

It feels like, and is, a solid piece of kit. Part of its effectiveness is its weight. It's very good at doing what it was designed to do. Which isn't always the case with hand tools. I'd recommend it 100%

I'm not sure I would buy this again. I have found the blade rotates in it's position and isn't always lined up with the cable to be stripped. Also, when you do a rotation round the wire, it rarely ends up at the same point you started off at (you're stripping more of a spiral). I have gone back to using a blade knife to strip wires, and that's a shame as this was quite expensive.

Glad I spring the extra few quid to get the top model Jokari. My old one was pinched on site, but it was the smaller model, if you work with hi tuf/YY etc a lot do yourself a favour and buy this one
