Ideal extractor fan
Needed to replace a bathroom extractor fan which had ceased to function. This fan was exactly the same as the one which had been installed many years ago. Thankfully all the fixings and wiring were identical to the defunct version we already had so everything lined up and the new one in place within 10 minutes and working perfectly.

A Good Airvac
Bought as replacement to an existing Greenwood airvac now past its working best. Husband fitted it and it's working well. Seems quieter than the old one. Only criticism; Why only one slot for the pull cord on left hand side. He needed to make another slot under the right side to accommodate the pull cord in order to switch on the airvac. Easy enough to do and not visible from the front. He had no choice but to do this due to the siting of original by the house builder. Slots both sides of airvac would have been useful and saved time in fitting. A good airvac would buy again, but can we have two slots or a choice of handedness for pull cord, please.

Greenwood Airvac AXS100 Bathroom Toilet Extractor Fan- Good value for Money
MCD Electrical supplied and AMAZON delivered the extractor fan in robust packaging within a few days of the order being placed. The kit arrived with full instructions and a delivery note. The fan was purchased to replace a 7 year old Airvac bathroom extractor and was a direct replacement. A word of caution, if you are not familiar with domestic lighting circuits ask an electrician to fit it for you. I removed the Anti backdraught shutters supplied with the fan because I mounted the extractor on the bathroom ceiling and I did not want any airflow restriction. Direct replacement works well
The original fan was sounding rough after 20yrs of use! This was a direct replacement that meant replacement was straightforward. Removed the old one, installed the new one and switched it back on - all ok and much quieter. Result!!

Green wood Extractor Fan AXS100 model
Extractor fan not the make or model as seen in picture. But it does look the same and fit the same with no alterations and a little less quality. Time will tell how long it lasts and if I would buy this again as it’s not what I was expecting when I ordered it.
