Great books for sporty boys
My 10 year old boy is a very reluctant reader and loved this book. In fact the whole series have been a hit! He's sport crazy so subject spot on, but the format is great for boys especially, illustrations and writing interspersed and not too much on a page.

'Please can I have another of these books? says my 8yo
I came across this series of books by accident and bought this and the Diary of a rugby star based on the reviews for my 8yo. Happy to say he loved both of them and read them very quickly and willingly! It was great to find a book that he really wanted to read - I enjoyed them too! My only 'criticism' would be that they are pricey for the length of the book in this day and age, when most books seem to be reduced in price. My son would now like further books from the series - think that says it all!
