Like all other REOLINK cameras i own, this just works. Unlike some others, it's watchable outside your LAN (if you want) without needing any special configurations on your router/gateway.

Really nice Reolink product. Does exactly as it says. It tracks movement of desired objects like people. It will adjust both range and height to capture object with auto focus. Then no activity resets to Home position programmed. Nice feature is no out of range objects get past the camera as it will move with the object to keep it in view adjusting even height. Then it waits for the object to reappear before returning to Home position.Largest complaint? The audio microphone can not be adjusted for sensitivity. It is very sensitivity and will pickup faint noises near it or behind it even with physical object blocking noises. A whisper can be heard. Not a large issue and easily offset by the other great features it offers.

Too slow to connect video feed if it even connects at all on a high speed Ethernet network. I wish I could get my initial cost back or trade the equipment in for a newer more stable reliable equipment

had and issue connecting to my NVR via PoE. Tried different cables and same result.log into the NVR and click on auto update, it said it was the lasted.opened a ticket with Reolink, less thand 24hrs, received a link to download new firmware.follow the process and all is working fine. great support. will recommend the cameras and system

The Reolink 4K PTZ PoE camera (model RLC-830A) comes with a water resistant ethernet connector, ethernet cable, mounting screws, mounting template, security sticker, and instructions. The camera is well-made (plastic) and feels solid (weighs 2.6 Ibs.). The unit is well-sealed and can be used indoors or outdoors. It has a slot for a micro-SD card for video storage (256gb max), I used a 128gb card with no issues. The wall mount is part of the camera housing and not removable. The pan/tilt movement of the unit was smooth. I had some difficulty in getting the auto-tracking to work and contacted Reolink through the Amazon link. Kudos to Reolink for being responsive and prompt in answering my inquires. I was able to get the auto-tracking to function for horizontal pans, but not for vertical/tilt. I returned the unit and received a replacement, which had the same issue. The vertical/tilt works under manual control by the user but not with the auto-track feature. Not sure if this is a hardware or software issue, but according to Reolink, this feature should work. In terms of video quality, this 4K camera has the sharpest video/picture as compared to my other 4k cameras (PTZ & stationary). The unit only has a digital zoom and not optical. Night vision is very good and has the option of a spotlight or infrared lighting. There is also a siren mode for deterrence, that can be used manually or automatically upon motion detection. The auto-tracking works wells (except for vertical/tilt) for persons, pets, and vehicles. The microphone and speaker for the two-way audio is sensitive and clear for picking up/transmitting voices/speech. Deducting a star for the lack of auto-tracking associated with vertical/tilt; rated 4-stars.

I own many Reolink cameras. As whole it's a great company. However this is probably my least favorite camera. Tracking is erratic and the infrared night vision is very poor. With the spot light on it's better. But without the spotlight on it's terrible . They have other cameras that are much better at night vision and tracking. You can see in the pictures it's very fuzzy. First thought it was a dirty lense but it's not. The other picture is with the spot light on. Not great either .

It has a home position that it will go to (if setup) after a predetermined timeI can easily see my driveway and anyone coming to my front door.I preset several positions that the camera will point to with the touch of a screen/click of the mouseAfter ## (user changeable) seconds of me not adjusting the camera, it goes back to the monitor positionIt does not auto track people or movementThe mount is set for wall or ceiling, it does work mounted to a ceiling which would seem to be the ideal mount for this style of camera.I can easily monitor this with the REOLink App on my phone, tablet or from the REOLink NVR itself.
