Sunday Afternoons Eclipse Cap

The features of this hat are second to none. The fabric is a breathable, quick dry, easy care fabric. The hat itself folds in half, even the bill, so that it can be tucked into a suitcase and not get crinkled or take up any space. Vents on each side of the hat lift up, cooling your head down in seconds.I have what I would say is a largish head. Trucker style ball caps do fit me, but I don't find them to be very comfortable. This hat comes in two sizes. I have the gray in size M and the white in size L. I like both and since the back is adjustable with a Velcro strap, they both fit just fine. If you have an average sized head, I would steer you toward the size M.I just love this hat and wish it came in more colors.

I absolutely needed UV protection and this hat is perfect. Lightweight and nice fit, easy to adjust. I bought a second one. I have other Sunday Afternoon Hats and really like this company.

Great for outdoor exercise. The air vents isn't a great look, but functional. The cap is super light and fits comfortably. The air vents allows a breez flow inside, making your head feel cool.

I got this hat because of the ability to open up the sides to let air in on a hot day while still having a brim for shielding my eyes from the sun. It is a wonderful hat! The white color does not absorb heat and the vents let it breathe where most caps become ovens on a hot day. The back of the cap goes down a but farther than normal caps so it also provides more protection against the sun in the back and stays on more securely. I love that the brim folds so I can carry it easily in my pocket or a bag, yet the hat perfectly holds its shape when open. We still use the heavier caps when it is cold, but this would work, too.My husband bought one in grey and loves it. A friend of mine who plays tennis daily and is balding (needed sun protection but not something hot) saw it and bought one and he uses it constantly and is very happy with it as well. Great hat!

Love how quickly and easily it folds! Easy to fit in back pocket when you don't need it. Great for hot weather.

First of all the color is not black, it is grey. Second item of note is that the large size is huge. The size is not anywhere in the item description and so left me guessing but it is clear from the item I got that it was designed for really big heads.

This cap is super light and instantly folds to fit in a pocket. The flaps pop up, even when not requested, which looks strange, especially if it's just one side but compared to the other folding caps, this one isn't a pillbox design so you won't look like a recruit in Mao's army. It does the job and I like it, sort of.
