I purchased this to use with a wall-mounted tablet that I have in kiosk mode for my Home Assistant smart home system. Previously, I used a standard recessed outlet with a USB connection to keep the tablet charged. However, due to constant charging, the battery eventually became overcharged and swelled, causing the front of the tablet to separate from the back. After replacing the tablet’s battery, I set up Home Assistant to monitor its battery level. I connected this smart outlet to Home Assistant and created an automation to manage charging. The automation charges the tablet to 80%, then turns off the USB outlet. The tablet is allowed to slowly discharge, and when the battery level reaches 10%, the automation turns the USB outlet back on to charge it up to 80% again before turning off. This setup prevents future overcharging issues and helps maintain the battery's health.

I already have a smart wall outlet in my hallway. When I bought that one, I thought it was compatible with Tuya / Smart Life (which I use for my many other WiFi Smart devices), but it turned out not to be - it's compatible with Kasa. But I found out only after installing it, so I decided to keep it (and it works fine). But when I bought one for my bedroom, I chose this one because it's compatible with Tuya / Smart Life. Very easy to install (neutral wire required). Took me about 5 mins, and that included walking to the panel to turn the breaker off, and then back on afterwards. The outlet was immediately recognized by the Tuya app. There are 3 LED lights, arranged vertically: the top & bottom indicate on/off status for the related socket (on = red; off = no illumination). The middle one is constantly on; switching the USB outlet on or off makes no difference, so I think it indicates "WiFi connected". But this is my one negative: It's very bright green, annoyingly so for someone who prefers a very dark bedroom. My workaround is to cover it with a piece of cardboard (see photo) but it'd be far better if the app allowed the user to turn off LED light display (which can be done with the Kasa wall outlet).

USB and USB C port stopped working after only 5 months of use, every time I turn the outlet on and a device is connected the outlet turns off by itself

I bought this smart wall socket to replace the combination of USB adapter and smart plug to save space and make my room cleaner. The installation wasn't too bad, the unit was a little bigger than another smart outlet I have, but still manageable. I was able to get it setup using my Tuya app, and integrated into Home Assistant in very little time. I am using HA to turn off the USB-C when the wall tablet reaches a specific charge level, then turn the outlet back on at a lower battery charge level. Each outlet (2 - 3-prong, 1 - USB-A and 1-USB-C) outlets can be independently switched on/off. The real complaint I have about the unit is the AC plugs! They are near impossible to get a 3-way plug into! They're not only child-proof, but adult-proof!

Funcionan muy bien con Smart Life de Apple, me encanta que los puedes programar por horarios o con cronómetro, muy estéticos y funcionales.

Bien, así puedes controlar con voz o con el teléfono, en una presentación más estándar que los contactos que hacen los mismo, además tiene las cargas USB y C. Tengo cerca de 80 dispositivos wifi, la gran mayoría son Moes operados con la app Tuya, y no me dan problemas.

Funcionan muy bien se configuran fácilmente y tengo varios de esta marca ya tengo un par de años con ellos y no fallan, compre de otra marca y me fallaron a los 3 meses

De verdad es muy práctico tener varios tipos de enchufe en uno solo, fácil de instalar si tienes las tomas correctas y fácil de enlazar y utilizar, muy buen producto. De buena calidad y acabados. Se ve súper bien y funciona muy bien.
