champagne glasses

I bought these as a Christmas present for my partner and he absolutely loved them. The glass is extremely delicate and they are beautifully shaped. I've hand washed them for the last few months and no accidents (yet!). Would highly recommend for a wonderful wine-drinking experience.

I think Amazon are merging reviews here for a few different styles of glasses, so for clarity my review is for the Willsbweger Anniversary Bordeux glasses. I bought these as my long serving Nachtman glasses had progressively been lost, and after a feline/worktop incursion, I was down to one. So loving Nachtman, I searched on Amazon and these ones stood out. They are very slender, and oh so nice in the hand. A flattish basin feels great in the hand, and virtually zero of the normal ribs, imperfections and ridges of a normal glass. Rim is laser cut so zero ridge, bowl to stem is totally smooth etc etc so from an engineering/production perspective... wow. Stem is very (excessively?) slender, but the foot is fairly big so hopefully stable. Bottom line is these are the nicest wine glasses i have ever handled (inc home and some very nice restaurants) So for the cash I strongly recommend.

Very large glasses, but beautiful to drink that special Burgundy out of. Personally I would not put them in the dishwasher !!

Very good quality - delicate glasses, well made, and a joy to drink from. Good 'ground glass' rim adds a quality feel, with not a hint of cheap moulded glass.

Habe 3x das 4er-Set Rotweingläser gekauft. Bin soweit zufrieden. Positiv: - Wirklich ästhetische Gläser, die Form gefällt mir enorm! Grösse und Volumen sind für ein Standard-Rotweinglas perfekt. - Gute Verarbeitung, alle 12 Gläser sind einwandfrei (Spülmaschinentauglichkeit muss sich noch zeigen). Das Glas ist aber sehr dünn, was es zierlich erscheinen lässt und natürlich leicht macht, aber wohl auch sehr leicht zerbrechlich... - Tolle Ergonomie, Glas hat (mit 2dl Wein befüllt) einen guten Schwerpunkt, steht dank des grossen Fusses sehr stabil und – m. E. am wichtigsten – es lässt sich wirklich sehr angenehm daraus trinken (Grösse und Winkel der Öffnung etc.). - Guter Preis! Negativ: - Die Gläser haben auf dem Fuss ein transparentes "Spiegelau"-Logo aufgedruckt, das etwas billig aussieht (Druck ist schlecht) und m. E. völlig unnötig ist. Ohne fände ich definitiv besser! Vermutlich wird die Spülmaschine das Logo aber sowieso bald "eliminiert" haben... - Die Gläser klingen nicht wirklich toll, weder leer noch befüllt. Zwar hört man, dass es Kristallglas ist (hochtoniges, langes Schwingen), trotzdem ist der Klang nicht besonders schön (etwas dumpf/blechern). Vermutlich ist das Glas zu dünn bzw. die Glashärte zu gering für eine bessere Akustik. Oder die Glasform ist das Problem. Insgesamt fallen die Negativpunkte angesichts des günstigen Preises nicht wirklich ins Gewicht, daher 5 Sterne!

I bought these for my father as part of his birthday present. Straight out of the box I was very impressed with the quality and the size of the glasses! Simply put, they are beautiful in person. I acid etched his initials into them and they came out looking like a set of glasses you'd pay a few hundred dollars for. He absolutely loved them and has been showing them off to everyone who comes by his house. They came very nicely packaged and feel wonderfully sturdy despite being as thin as you'd expect from quality glass. I couldn't ask for more and will definitely buy more from Spiegelau in the future.

Great set of 4 beautiful, but very very thin and refined Spiegelau glasses. They are made to serve pilsner from czeky with grace and class. Absolutely a must.

perfect for cosmopolitan or lemon drop martini's...we prefer this shape to the normal cone shape martini glass...very delicate so plan on treating with CARE...
