My garbage disposal is not used for anything thicker than yogurt or cottage cheese. So that means I need to strain food scraps before going down the drain. I use a wire mesh strainer and put these great cloth net strainers over the metal mesh strainer. Nothing gets into the drain that does not belong. I use one every day or two depending on what was rinsed in the sink. Having an elastic rim, makes them easy to put on and take off making for ease of cleaning. When I take it off, I wrap it in a piece of paper towel, place it in a plastic bag in the freezer until trash day. This eliminates any trash can stink from rotting food stuff. These are a good quality with good seams and no holes. The value for the amount you get is good. The size and stretch allows for them to fit a few different sizes of strainers.

Works as it should. I even used it for shower drain! I like the idea of throwing it out each day, especially when I’m baking sourdough bread. It screens things well.

Great product especially if you are cleaning up after sourdough. It catches all the bits of dough that may drop down the drain.

These work great to protect your plumbing! I use these any time I’m making sourdough bread to catch all of the bits of dough since they can turn to concrete in your pipes. If you wash your sourdough tools in the sink, or even the dough off of your hands you need these.

Great idea. Water drains well, fits the stopper to stop food (sourdough in my case), but the quality is lacking-ALOT. Many of them tear just opening to put on the stopper. They need to work on that and then it would be a must have.

These work great on our sink. We don't have a garbage disposal so ensuring the drain doesn't get clogged with food debris is important.
