One teaspoonful in a mug of hot water is much cheaper than bouillon cubes. It makes a lovely bed-time drink; I stir in a spoonful of coffee creamer for extra flavour!

Bovril, it does what the label says. A meaty, warming drink. Ideal of cold winter days, Football and Rugby watching. pop some in a flask and you can have it on the go. caution, may spark off nostalgia.
