Medical Records Book - Doctor Visits Records

The book is nicely organized and has all the pages my daughter wanted. She has two books - one for each twin - so she can keep their medical info straight. It would be nice if it were a higher quality. My daughter keeps wanting to fold the book in half to make it easier to write in. But every time she does that the pages fall out of the comb binding and then has to put it back together. It would be a much better book if it had a coil binding. The page quality is fine. It's just the comb binding that we don't like.If the pages become hard to turn it's because the comb has tightened and there isn't enough room for the pages to move. With the book open and with a hand on the outside of the outer edge of the left-hand pages, and one on the outer edge of the right-hand pages, gently pull outwards. That will loosen the comb enough that the pages will turn properly.It's a nice size - big enough to be useful, but not so big that you won't want to carry it to the doctor's office.

Overall a good choice however could definitely benefit from improvements. I taped a plastic card holder over the spot where it wants you write in the insurance information so I can just slide in a copy of the card. The information will change every year so why bother to write it? I also rubber cemented a height and weight chart. I don't need to write all the details of every well visit- I feel like that's a waste of the limited number of pages. It could also benefit from adding a medication administration section. Otherwise I like the features and layout. I work full time and it's nice to be able to share info so simply with the sitter and for her to have every thing she might ever need if there is an emergency.

Love this book to track his vaccinations. The dental part is fun to track his teeth coming in but it's hard to keep up with since he no longer wants me anywhere near his mouth. The doctor visit section is a nice idea but will fill up over so many visits. I think if the book kept to blood type, vaccinations, teeth, allergies and illnesses as an overall health record of important stuff, not so much notes for each appointment.

Cons: I rarely give bad reviews and I wanted to like this but I just don't. I feel it wasn't worth the money. I purchased this for myself to organize my newborn's medical records and dr. visits. The concept of this product is great but the construction is flimsy and It fell apart when as I was flipping through the pages. I also dropped it then all the pages came off the plastic binding. With an infant, you drop lots of things all the time - a wire bounding would be better. I also found that my doctor's immunizations were different than the ones suggested - so lots of editing. I know each doctor is different but when I showed it to the pediatrician, I got the impression that this was a bit outdated.Pros: Size - fits great in diaper bag and I liked the area to write down questions

This was a bit expensive for what you actually get BUT that being said if you are looking for something that is not bulky or complicated/involved then this is it. It is a journal that gets to the point, compact enough to carry around and store in records/fire safe, etc. For someone who just wants to stick to the basics in medical recording of a child's progress this is definitely for you.

When i first look at it on my PC, it seems to be a good pick in terms of having a good notebook to record my baby's medical visits and other stuff. When the item arrived had at least 3 seals that warn you about the terms of returns, those seals plus the insert specifically said, "if the book is open cannot be returned". i was actually surprised because there were too many warning signs around. Then i was "bold" enough to open it and completely understood why they warn you that much!!!! It turn out to be a flimsy, ugly, notebook. I could do one by myself using the templates that are available on line, and simply have those sheets in a small binder.Such a waste of my money.

I purchased the Medical Records Book - Doctor Visits Records, for my son and his girlfriend to keep track of my granddaughter's Doctor visits, Dentists visits, immunizations, and insurance records. They can also use it to record teething dates and to jot down questions that they have for babes next doctors visits. Great little book, small enough to fit in the diaper bag.

Although I haven't used it yet. I think this is useful for all doctor appointments for children. A great way to save everything YOU think should be saved as a reminder or just on record for your child! I recommend this to anyone with children & will be buying this once again for my next child in the future.
