Much thicker and more sturdy than other brands I've used elsewhere
This is the third time I've used a geo-grid product, all for landscape applications, and this was my best experience yet and I suspect it'll be the most sturdy. the grid is much more thick and sturdy than other brands I've tried and the seams didn't split or tear when I went to stretch the grid or installed the rock. I also love that I didn't have any waste, I was able to order the right size for my product and I didn't have to trim any grid and throw it away!

Great product for slope fill for paver walkway project
I'm putting in a paver walkway and have a large slope at one corner and decided to purchase this product to lay under that area for stability. So glad I did. Spread it out, stretched and trimmed to fit the corner and used 6" galvanized stakes to hold in place. Perfect! Then filled with paver base, sand and and a bit of excavated soil to the height I wanted. Definitely recommend and will be ordering more for addressing an area of erosion off the driveway.

Know what you are getting into
This Geocell MAY be a good solution for your project, but I found it to be a nightmare. We installed it twice in an area where we poured gravel into the cells. We learned that you have to be gentle when putting gravel into the cells. The cells will bounce up if you dump gravel and then be too high. The first time, after installation, we found that weeks of walking of the gravel caused the geocell to rise up. It shifted as we stepped on it and gravel shifted under the cells. THERE IS NO WAY TO PUSH THE GEOCELL BACK DOWN! Another lesson learned, we ripped it all up and did it again, this time putting a lot of stakes it. We were pretty happy with the outcome and it seemed really stable. Then, I drove over it with a piece of heavy equipment and accidentally snagged the geocell pulling it up once again. I was so infuriated, I tore it all up and swear I’ll never go near it again. Be warned, this stuff can be good, but it’s way too easy to screw it up.

Installed in dirt road w/ rain runoff
Installed in front of farm gate on dirt road. Husband excavated down about 6 inches and put the grid down and refilled with coarse DG. Had problems with rain rutting and uneven terrain but after installation these problems no longer existed. It has held the ground extremely well. We will be installing more now that it has proven durable. We will be using for a residential driveway with DG and pea gravel instead of expensive concrete or asphalt.

It Works
Prepared foundations on top of what was a compacted vegetation waste dump. Added this with aggregate topped with sand Then laid concrete built a concrete bar and added a paved patio. Despite the tropical downpours we have here in South Florida there's no subsidence.

Worked like a charm
This was super easy to install. We put it under our plastic shed and has withheld the weight.
