False advertisement, false hope. Very upset.
I one day decided to look for a 'something' that would make my S3 Pro BoboVR super strap work with a link cable (to have the best of both worlds) of my Quest 3. ..And like nearly everyone else that has posted similar statements, I also have to.Sadly this the ONLY thing that comes up (on Amazon) for this specific purpose (only to not work as you'd expect it to). What is even the purpose of having dual ports if it's not for a link cable and a battery bank? This item needs to be removed for false advertisement (or something).

Works great with battery and wireless audio adapter.
I saw a review where a person said they could not get their arctis 7 wireless dongle working. The thing is, you actually have to pair the dongle back to your headphones to get it to work on the quest.Enter the dongle pair mode, hold power on the headphones for pairing.Had to figure this out as my headphones would not work until I did that.

Charges my head strap battery instead of my headset
So it works where the power from my head strap battery can charge my headset, and is it compliant to the Link needs. But when I plug in the cable from my PC, with the cable from my battery still plugged in, the that PC cable charges the headset instead. My computer can't detect the headset, from the Oculus App nor even as a new device.I can, however, connect to my PC with use this adapter, but I have unplug it from my battery first. Which negates the entire reason of this produce. I thought I just had a bad batch, but I ordered it again and I still get the same error.

Only design needs improvement, really a additional attachment
The media could not be loaded. What more is there to say? It does its job, as far as STANDALONE headset goes, i can only wish for one slight design improvement, make a additional version of this attachment with the passthrough in the front instead of the rear. Best way to get it as compact as possible. OTHERWISE it does its job perfectly routing power the way its designed, power and data.Edit: Added additional photos on power draw, and faults of this product. Doesn't pass through enough power, and when the QUEST 2 is off, it wont pass through power PERIOD through the power in/out only port, or the smart data power in/out port.. Smart cable wont detect anything. Smart brick detects nothing, kinda a problem if folks wanna leave it connected right? But if i use the factory cable the OEM one that came with the quest 2, it passes power through but only like 3-5watts is being passed through to the quest. Disappointing. Outside of that does what i want it to do, which is allow me to at least have all my stuff connected AND get at least 5-7hrs out of nonstop play.Worth mentioning the products showcased are all together and individually shown in the video for power draw breakdown. Added a 1min 22sec video since i couldnt attach broken down segments of the power draw, and connected add ons mentioned.AHIO smart watt cableURVNS GaN 65W USB C Smart chargerNexiGo Type-C Adapter for Oculus Quest 2ZYBER Ir Light for Meta Quest 2BINBOK VR Fan for Oculus Quest 2

BUYER BEWARE - This thing kills USB-C thumb drives
I purchased this item to be able to connect a USB-C thumbdrive to my Oculus Quest 2 at the same time as power. When I plugged in the USB drive i could read the data just fine. The moment I plugged in power at the same time the USB became unreadable. I thought, "hmm, I must have had a bad SanDisk USB-C drive" so I tried another... It killed it as well. Now both USB drives no longer work on any computer. If you buy this, make sure to test it with USB drives that have data that you do not care about, because odds are you are going to kill your USB-C thumbdrive as well.

Nice adapter but won’t fit into a case
Does what I needed it to do but if it was only a little thinner. Just won’t fit into a case as it sticks out too far

Doesnt do what it was MADE to do
Ive got a Pico 4. Reading these reviews i was pretty skeptical on buying, but i was gonna test it anyways just to see if maybe it was a Quest issue. It is not. Only one port can work at a time. Useless product.

Works great, but only with NexiGo Cable for me
Note: This is an updated review after support reached out to me.Originally, I bought this and tested it with a 5M VRCover USB-C cable. It would not work, or would only work at USB 2.0 speeds. I left a one star review because 3.0 is nearly a requirement for wired VR (2.0 is basically airlink speeds).NexiGo reached out to me to try and make it right, and provided me a replacement unit as well as one of their own cables that you can find on Amazon or their site. I also grabbed two additional random USB 3 cables to test in the meantime. The only cable I could get working with both adapters I now had was the NexiGo cable. The adapter swap didn't actually help in getting the VR Cover cable working. I said as much to the NexiGo representative who reached out to me. So my suggestion at this time if you want this product is also to purchase NexiGo's cable along with it. Thankfully it's inexpensive. As for how it works (with the working NexiGo cable), it's great. It lets me use the battery on my headset strap and play wired at the same time, keeping my Quest 2 on longer than the cable to my PC would by itself.
