Well disappointed after about 6 months the usb ports are now broken. When you get this it really is good... After constant usage the usb port boards that are inside the ports have now all come out and no longer work. The design is great and works well... But it seems the usb ports aren't made for constant abuse (usage) or made cheapest way possible. Great but not for constant usage.

Had this a few weeks now and I did some tests, obviously anecdotal but it seems to work well for me. When the laptop is under load it seems to keep the temperature about 6-8 degrees lower when switched on to switched off. Of course I'm using the sensors to monitor this so it could be even better as there will be some passive cooling from the pad. Not too loud, even on turbo, and by the time I need it my laptop fans are going anyway. Being able to adjust the temperature sensors to the right location is really helpful.

I love the look of this. Sadly anything that runs off usb will only feed a low power.. Not really enough to be efficient enough for these fans to work to there full potential. So I was lucky to see a 2c drop max.. Barely that. When playing a game it didn't make a difference. Anyone wanting to cool the intake on gaming laptop I would recommend try using some desktop fans or DIY method for nice flow of air.. One huge fan preferably.. But if you like wasting money.. Buy this lol. Looks good and fancy but sadly that's about it

The product seemed great to start with, but the female USB connector failed after a few weeks. I like to be fair with these reviews, but I can't recommend this product, unfortunately.

Quiet and efficient. The only very small issue is that you have to switch it on - eventhough it is plugged into the laptop.

Does the job. Lowered my temperatures by 5 degrees celsius but that just my silly laptop.

I used the cooler for my new Latitude 7410 (which only has a single fan at back) because it got hot quickly. Its very quiet and maintains a good temperature of around 28*.

UPDATE: I added four small 3M wall hangers to prevent my very thin MacBook Air from sliding forward and sideways (which was the only problem I was having). The wall hangers work great! Photos added. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do and looks good. I use it to keep my MacBook Air cool when doing a lot of video editing that makes the processor work hard and warm up. This unit does a great job keeping the temperature down around 85 (Fahrenheit). Without it running, the MacBook Air will run 10 to 15 degrees warmer doing the same task. My only suggestion for improving it would be to add some sort of ridge near the front to prevent light weight laptops like mine from constantly sliding forward. But I don’t criticize them for leaving that out. One must remember that this unit is designed for universal use with any laptop, which necessarily means that it cannot be designed perfectly for any ONE class of laptops. Overall, I’m extremely happy with it and glad I bought it and I use it every day.

My old MacBook Pro (Intel) kept overheating which made it slow and it also shut down suddenly and restarted. This was due to overheating. This item really kept my MacBook Pro cool so that I can use it without frustration any more. I have used it for a week and I have no complaints.
