Comfort and confidence!!
I have tried several knee supports for my knee since I tore my Medial Collateral Ligament 9 years ago, and not been totally happy with any of them. Either they did not offer any support or were too clumsy and uncomfortable to wear for martial arts use, so I stopped using them. My brother used shock doctor mouth guards for rugby and was always impressed, so when I saw this I thought I would give it a try. This support is great in the fact that it pulls on over the leg, so has no rough straps that cut into the back of the knee, and as it is fully enclosed keeps the knee warm. The patella support works well and is not hard or uncomfortable to land on when going in for a takedown. The last time I tried a single leg takedown I felt my knee move and I swelled up quickly afterwards, but this support keeps everything where it should without being too bulky to move around in. The springy supports are not intrusive or too weak to do what they are supposed to do. I was tempted to go for the Shock Doctor Ultra Knee, but it is not necessary and would probably be more suitable for those with Cruciate Ligament damage and/or reconstruction. The fitment chart on the Shock Doctor website was very handy and spot on, and should be referred to by anyone looking to purchase one of their products. This product has given me worry free comfort, protection and confidence in either Gi or MMA shorts, and lets me get on with what I am doing. 10/10!!

Really good product!
I had surgery on my knee after tearing my meniscus at juijitsu and so needed a bit of support when I returned to training. This knee stabiliser is brilliant, very well made and comfortable to wear and gives me the confidence to get back training. I have bought Shock doctor products befor and so chose this one as I knew it would be a quality product. The sizing guide is accurate and so it fits well, however my injured leg has lost a lot of conditioning so is skinnier than my other but if the strap get too tight when I build the muscle up in my leg I won't hesitate to buy another one the next size up.

Good product, good customer service
I injured my knee and was told it was a muscle problem: they didn’t contract and retract as they should after I exercised. I used the measurement guide but due to my measurement I ordered a L and XL at the same time. The L came and didn’t fit so I measured again and decided to cancel the XL and order XXL. XXL fits. Customer service was quick and responsive. No problem getting a refund for the L & XL even though the XL hasn’t yet been delivered. Responsive: because I complained that the delivery date had been pushed back for the XL and I need it NOW! Good product, good customer service.

Super Quick Delivery and great Brace
I recently sustained a knee injury when travelling in Asia. I ordered this knee brace so that I could continue training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu once I got back to the UK. It arrived in less than 3 business days on standard delivery with no extra charge and my knee is feeling loads better and more stable when wearing it. It has a snuck feel with good grip. Angling the knee too far and putting pressure on it, like for example in the "knee on stomach" position, the back of the brace pinches a little bit, but in most positions its very comfy! I am so glad the brace arrived to quickly and looks like its going to work out, now I can attend Ryron Gracie's seminar the coming weekend!

Gutted
Superb support, however I expected it to last more than 1 wear before the support strut cut through the material. Gutted, £43 for one wear.

Rubbed off skin and gave me scars on back of knees..
Hi guys, I have been doing much tabbing (marching) on the hills/mountains. Carrying heavy weight (50lb) up and down steep inclines for ex-military events. I noticed my knees started to ache alot coming down steep hills so I investigated knee supports. I got one of these for for both knees, the first time I sued I felt uncomfortable, but after a while got used to the dull ache.. and I actually think this did help my knees from getting so hammered.. The only problem is, I felt a pain in back of knees and after I completed one trip (approx 12 miles) I took off and found it had cut into my skin, like a friction burn, at back of both knees on the sensitive skin. It has taken approx 4 weeks to completely heal. I thought it may have been as I work too tight, but I spent quite a bit of time to select/order the correct size before I'd purchase and I had loosened them quite quickly into the march so I'm guessing it is just the design. I basically could not wear these again and risk damaging my skin more so I sent them back via Amazon for a full refund. Was it because they are not supposed to be used for climbing hills carrying weight? Well they are designed for sport, so that shouldn't make a difference. I'm not sure, these half worked for me, but half didn't. I will look to try another brand, I have another exercise in two weeks. P.s. I Hope this review helps give you some perspective, please let me know if it does as I have tried out much gear over the recent years, including ankle supports, footwear etc and I could give some helpful feedback on many other products if you would like me to?

... a while ago back when i dislocated my knee pretty bad and did some further injury to it
I got this a while ago back when i dislocated my knee pretty bad and did some further injury to it. I used this to help with recovery and walking, and oh boy did it help! i still use this for long walks today. you will sweat a lot in this but a little talcum powder is the perfect cure as this easily wipes down, this perfectly stabilized your knee cap and stops it wobbling around as well removing that over worked fatigued feeling i used to get.

Very good support
Well worth the money. I have a very unstable right knee and this support makes it feel stable again. Good straps for tightening and extra support.
