Great piece of kit, reduces dust by easily 90%. I used this when coring out a 117mm hole, with a titan wet/dry vac and it stuck really well to the wall, no issue. Highly recommended

Brilliant piece of kit, no dust at all when using my metabo vacuum

Four star ‘cos it’s expensive for what it is and also very large which makes it difficult to fit if the hole you want to drill is close to an edge, ie corner or window frame. On the positive side it works really well and sticks to most vertical surfaces including wall paper and lets you drill holes with almost no mess at all and leaves both your hands free to control the drill.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I tried one of the generic dust catchers - it didn't work (didn't stick to the wall via suction) on a super-flat interior wall with a workshop vacuum. The Bosch works superbly on flat interior walls. Depending on the power of your vacuum, it also works on rough brick surfaces, which is excellent performance. I do feel however that more effort could be made to make the device as slim as possible. It is bulky and long so you just can't get it into tight spaces such as below the floorboards. However, this is a limitation of all the large diameter dust catchers I have seen.

Brilliant for core drilling holes for extractors. This saves a whole lot of mess & clean up afterwards when core drilling. It sticks to the wall very tightly with no chance of coming off using a metabo asr35. I'm sure it would still stick well using lesser vacuums. You do get a little bit of dust left in the shroud after & sone on the wall where it was stuck, but it gets almost everything else. If you're going to drill near its capacity ie.. 152mm then just unclipped the brushes. I wish I'd bought one sooner i I wouldn't core a hole without it now.

I bought this after much consideration as to whether it would pay for itself over time as they are quite expensive for what they are. And was very happy with it. I used a Henry vacuum with a clean filter and new bag and it stuck to the wall very well indeed both the outside rough brick and the smooth plastered wall inside. I had a kitchen extractor fan to install so the dust would have been a nightmare if i hadn’t used this. I removed the brush and it managed a 152mm core bit with ease. Also, i didn’t need any other hose attachment either as the Henry hose end fitted fine. Yes its a tad pricey but works a treat

I bought this to try to keep the dust down when using an Armeg tri-cut box cutter for single and twin socket boxes etc. Wasn't sure it would stay on the wall but it stuck like a limpet as soon as the dust extractor was running and only fell off when the dust extractor was turned off. As long as 100% of the bottom section of the device is touching the wall it will stay put. I was using it with a Metabo not a Bosch extractor and the hose fitted well enough for it to work really well. Just need to make sure the rubber seals on the back of the device are cleaned as they may leave marks on the wall. Saved loads of clearing up as the tri cutter tends to throw dust everywhere even with a dust extractor held under it. So simple design but so effective. When removing from the wall make sure you don't put it seal side down or you may have to clear up the remaining dust that didn't get removed by the extractor.

マキタの集塵機で利用してます。 径が合わないので適当な塩ビをアダプター代わりにして接続 １８Ｖ集塵機なので、それほど吸引力が強い訳では無いですが 壁に張り付きます。そして集塵してくれます。
