Good machine for the price
This 2.2kw spindle is surprisingly quiet. Quieter than an electric toothbrush, very low noise output. 3mm end mill cutting pine scrap is making enough sound too drown out the spindle. I could easily fall a sleep in a room next door. Machine overall is heavy, it came in 4 boxes. Table weighing almost 100lbs. Rest of the boxes were lighter. Remote doesn't work, or I still haven't figured out now to enable it. I needed to email seller for installation instructions and drivers, it was not included, and it will not work without that. Instructions were mostly clear to follow. It is compatible only with Mach3 CNC, due to driver board compatibility (as far as I understand). That is what I am familiar with, so thats fine, but I needed refresher from youtube. I wish the table had less flex, but I may upgrade with some good aluminium extrusions in the future. It came with 4 end mills, some wrenches, and very poor clamps. Few mounting bolts were missing, I got extras at hardware store. I would consider this to be a entry level machine. Good for hobby, small business, but not industrial grade in case you are wondering. Its made of steel and aluminium. Overall I do like it, always wanted one to do woodworking and soft metal work. I use Fusion 360, with Mach3 post processor to export tool paths in G-code, running from older windows 8 laptop. Also, there are no homing/limit switches for Z axis. I added them to my machine, and reconfigured it too use all 3 axis to auto home/reference home in Mach3. I find that necessary since I run it on a laptop and after restart machine doesn't know where it is. This also gives me reliable calculated soft limits from a physical reference home.

Great value for machining work area size
Mine did not come with paperwork for the Mach3 settings or files. Once I got them figured out and the spindle trammed, it cuts very accurately. It machines aluminum very well with 2 flute end mills at 15k rpm, 240in/min, 1mm stepdown, and 10% stepover. Mine had a few improvements over other’s from last year. The bed has reinforcements under it to stiffen it and there are limit switches. The spindle is now grounded too, but it only had a 3-wire cord. I replaced the cord with a 4-wire shielded one. I have not experienced any EMI even with the VFD being right against the power supply in the enclosure. I am very happy with it and replacing the cord was only a minor inconvenience for me.
