Decent pair of pants for a hike
Kept me warm for my hike and waterproof. Size wise they fit great all be a bit tight around the waist but I prefer that to being too loose. Good quality, comfy, colour looks nice and fits into the small bag which I very handy.

Value for money!
I walk on average 8 miles a day and with the weather now becoming increasingly more inclement and the fact I got absolutely soaked last week, I looked to buy some wet weather gear. At first I was attracted to the Regatta name as I’ve had some of their clothes before, a fleece and a jacket, and they have served me well. Secondly the price seemed a no brainer, I paid £13:11 for these over trousers. Following the rather confusing reviews about size, some people say they come large and small, I ordered them in large. I am 36/34 waist with a 34 inside leg and they fit me perfectly. The elasticated waist holds them firmly in place and the don’t work their way down as you walk, no matter how soaked they get. They are a good length, sitting well on your shoes. They have a press stud at the hem for you to tighten them around your ankle. Some reviews mention the strange backwards openings for the pockets, which I agree is odd and they do gape a little but in my experience not enough to let water in. I wore these for the first time today in Storm Claudia, and in a 5 mile road walk they did their job perfectly. Considering they were soaked within the first 20 minutes, underneath I remained warm and dry. Others mentioned sweat and that they aren’t breathable, I did not experience this at all, wearing a pair of joggers underneath them, I was no hotter or sweatier than usual. In summary these over trousers are more than fit for purpose and exhibit quite unbelievable value for money

Lightweight, Compact, and Perfect for Rainy Days: My Experience with These Waterproof Overtrousers
These overtrousers are perfect for wearing over your trousers when it's raining. I ride a bike, so I always carry them with me because I live in Ireland, and it can rain at any time. They are lightweight and don’t make me feel too warm, so if it’s just raining but not cold, they solve my problem of staying dry without overheating. The pocket allows access to my pants pocket, which is really cool because I don’t have to struggle to reach for my keys, for example. They have a button on the leg opening that allows you to keep the pants snug and prevents them from getting caught in the bike chain. The best part is the little bag that makes the pants very compact, so I can take them anywhere. One of the photos shows two overtrousers, one green (I bought it on Amazon) and one black (I bought it directly from the store). The green one is the men’s model, size M (my husband uses it), and the black one is the women’s model, size M (mine). I don’t see any difference in fit between the two, so if you want to buy and they only have one gender option, know that there’s no difference. I am 1.72m tall and weigh 54 kg. The overtrousers are a bit loose, but size S wouldn’t fit in length. My husband is 1.77m and weighs 66 kg, and the overtrousers fit him well.

Great lightweight waterproof option for unpredictable weather
I picked up the Regatta Pack-It Men's Waterproof Overtrousers mainly for golf but they have come in handy for hiking in changeable UK weather, and overall, I’m really pleased with them. They do exactly what they promise — keep you dry without adding a ton of bulk. Pros: Waterproof performance: I've worn these through some pretty heavy downpours, and they’ve kept my legs completely dry. The fabric beads water nicely and dries quickly when hung up. Lightweight and packable: They fold down into their own little stuff sack, which makes them perfect to throw in the golf bag or a backpack without taking up much space. Comfortable fit: The elasticated waistband and adjustable ankles mean they’re easy to get on and off over boots, and they don't feel too restrictive when walking. Cons: Breathability could be better: Like many waterproof trousers at this price point, they can get a little clammy inside if you’re exerting yourself, but that’s to be expected. Overall - If you’re after a simple, affordable, and reliable pair of waterproof overtrousers for hiking, commuting, or festivals, these are a solid choice.

Good quality and useful product. Value for money at the price.
Good-sized over trousers, which is ideal for the British weather. I have these in my backpack for emergency use when caught in showers and downpours. They are very useful, and I like the poppers at the bottom of the leg, which help with the dryness. The slits for access to the pockets are useful, although they are prone to blowing open in the wind, thus allowing water/rain inside. They are dark black, and although when you pull them out of the handy sleeve, they appear creased and wrinkled, however, they appear a bit like shell suit bottoms, so the crinkled look suits them. They are so light when not wearing, I have them in my backpack all the time.

The material from which it is made is great and waterproof. The sizing provided is accurate enough. I would have given this product a 4 or a 5 star for its price-quality range but the pockets really disappointed me. They do not look right. It is as though they are angled wrongly, and are supposed to be positioned facing the opposite direction (the side closer to the back should be closer to the front and vice versa). They should have added a button, zip or velcro to be able to close the hole. Or, they could have just not provided it at all. Since the designers/manufacturers didn't do any of these, these pockets end up as gaping holes by your side if your legs are bent (like they would be when you are cycling) where water can easily get in. I'll try to get my rain jacket to cover up the pockets openings, or maybe just tape them the inside, and hope I do not get caught out in hard rain.

I ordered XL (I would normally take large) to allow for some movement when used over work pants, all good.........nice product and great price
