This is one of those items you hope you will never have to use from your first aid kit, yet is an essential item for any first aid kit be it home or business or even just kept in the car. Small and lightweight and very easy to store. Just make sure you know how to use one before you have too! I would recommend to all.

I've carried one of these with me for many years after needing to assist someone who had stopped breathing. I struggled at the thought of giving mouth to mouth resuscitation when I was faced with the situation. These are great for giving you the confidence to do resuscitation whilst avoiding the unpleasantness involved in certain situations.

I bought this just to put in my purse when out and about and it will certainly fufill this purpose. I hope I never have to use it, but it is handy to have. As a nurse I would perform mouth to mouth if I had to, but I would prefer a small barrier between me and the patient, so this is perfect and not at all bulky.

Jag arbetar som specialist på en narkosavdelning, jag är även HLR-instruktör. Mitt jobb är att dagligen hantera luftvägar på medvetslösa patienter på operation. Jag köpte denna för att ha den i bilen, men inser direkt när jag får den i min hand att den är dålig. För det första: Plastduken täcker bara en liten-liten del av ansiktet, inte hela som på bilden. Och jag vill inte få spyor i mitt ansikte som är vanligt att patienter med hjärtstopp får. Ventilen som man ska blåsa i är för liten helt enkelt och borde rimligtvis varit rundare för att man ska kunna forma läpparna lättare till den, dessutom är ventilen så trög att blåsa i så att man knappast kan få ner någon meningsfull mängd luft i patienten. Jag provade att ta bort envägsfunktionen helt och då blev det lite lättare. Jag kan inte se framför mig att en amatör skulle kunna använda denna på ett vettigt sätt i en akut situation. Jag provade att ta bort envägsventilen helt, men munstycket är ändå svårt att använda trots att jag kan detta på mina 5 fingrar. Produkten är som jag ser det totalt meningslös att använda. Jag kommer att köpa någon annan och hoppas på att den är bättre. Denna gick rakt ner i papperskorgen.
